Kozuki Hiyori is the child of Kozuki Oden and Kozuki Toki. She is the younger sibling of the now shogun of Wano Country, Kozuki Momonosuke. Twenty years ago, Hiyori assumed the guise of Komurasaki, the highest-ranking oiran, to conceal her identity.
Hiyori was discovered in the streets of the Flower Capital and taken outside Kyoshiro's home. She was escorted inside by the yakuza boss, who then revealed who Denjiro was. The following 13 years were spent by him raising her and preparing her to become Komurasaki, a geisha.

Kozuki Oden and Toki had Hiyori 26 years ago while aboard Whitebeard's ship. Hiyori joined the Oro Jackson with her parents and brother after Oden met Gol D. Roger and chose to help him on his last mission. Toki fell ill after the Roger Pirates' arrival on Fish-Man Island. Hiyori stayed behind in Wano with her mother and brother after the crew arrived in Wano Country.
The family welcomed Oden back to Wano after his absence. Before Oden was told about the Beasts Pirates' attempted attack on his family, Raizo was told to remove Hiyori and Momonosuke from the room at Oden Castle. At the same time, Oden was being informed about Orochi's abuse of power.
Oden's family continued to adore him despite his acting foolishly and losing the respect of most of Wano's people for five years after failing to kill Orochi. Hiyori, Momonosuke, and Toki stayed in Oden Castle while being protected by Shimotsuki Yasuie and his men twenty years ago, while Oden and the Scabbards battled the Beasts Pirates in the Udon region. Hiyori was in Oden Castle with her mother and brother when Kaidou set it on fire after Oden was killed in the Flower Capital by Orochi.
Toki sent Momonosuke and four of their retainers 20 years in the future using her Devil Fruit abilities, while Hiyori stayed with her. When Hiyori was 13 years old, Kawamatsu helped her leave Oden Castle and cared for her till then. Kawamatsu was allegedly starving himself and attempting to survive alone when Hiyori claimed she fled from him.
Hiyori was found in the streets of the Flower Capital and taken outside Kyoshiro's home. She was escorted inside by the yakuza boss, who then revealed to her who Denjiro really was. The following 13 years were spent by him raising her and preparing her to become Komurasaki, a geisha. Hiyori diligently worked as a Kamuro while also studying to become a geisha. She eventually attained the rank of oiran.
Hiyori is a highly headstrong woman who refuses to concede or display weakness in front of others. She argues that being a samurai's daughter is to blame for this. She states that as the daughter of a samurai, she must not cry, and out of dignity refuses to cry at the notion of seeing her brother again. Although this was the case, she sobbed excessively both when Yasuie was killed and when she was reunited with her guardian Kawamatsu.
In her persona as Komurasaki, Hiyori gave off the impression of being a ruthless, materialistic, and skilled manipulator. After defrauding her victims, she treated them with extreme coldness. She showed neither remorse or compassion, claiming that she hates the underprivileged.
When it was later discovered that the guys she conned with had engaged in very unethical behaviour, she gave all the money she had stolen to Denjiro so that he might give it to the city's underprivileged residents rather than keeping it for herself. Hiyori adopted speech patterns typical of the oiran to portray Komurasaki.
She frequently used the first-person pronouns wachiki or achiki and finished her sentences with the polite term "de-arinsu," which means "to be." She removes the verbal tic and switches to the neutral term watashi after giving up her Komurasaki identity.
In truth, Hiyori is a really caring and loving person. She has great compassion for the numerous Wano residents who were mercilessly suppressed by Orochi and Kaidou. Hiyori, who is unafraid to get her hands filthy, had the urge to kill Orochi despite her benevolence. Hiyori cares greatly about her nation, as evidenced by her willingness to trade Wano's priceless national treasure Shusui for her father's relic Enma with Zoro.
Hiyori let go of her arrogant attitude while she and Toko were being pursued by Kamazo and pleaded with Zoro to assist them. She is really kind. After all, she gave Zoro food in gratitude for saving her because she appreciated him. She has a tendency to be timid and careless.
She might be sarcastic, questioning Zoro if he enjoyed sleeping with her. She was rather rude and boisterous as a youngster, according to Kin'emon, a trait she received from her father when he was young. Hiyori enjoyed acting strong, but she was quite a crybaby, according to Momonosuke.
When she kicked her brother Momonosuke, Hiyori demonstrated that she still had some youthful traits. Hiyori liked music and had been playing the shamisen since she was young.
Hiyori is a thin, average-height woman with blue eyes that are noticeably tilted downward and long turquoise hair that falls to her waist. Her large lips are covered in fuchsia lipstick. She looks similar to her mother. When she was six, she had a bob haircut.
She dressed in geta for Komurasaki to give the impression that she was tall. Her hair was heavily ornamented with several flowers and pins. She wore a red furisode kimono that sparkled in the sunlight and had a peacock and flowers embroidered on the sleeve. Her fingernails were painted crimson.
She is regarded as Wano's most attractive woman. People struggle to stare directly at her because of how stunning she is. Her appearance alone can cause severe nose bleeds, dizziness, and blindness. She hides her tears of sadness and wrath while playing the shamisen by donning a kitsune fox mask so that no one, especially Orochi, can see it.
Hiyori left most of her hair down when she left the Flower Capital, with her fringe covering her forehead and some of her hair put up by pins in a fancy bun behind her head. She removed most of its decorations but for two pink rose-shaped ones with gold dangling from each side of her head. She also took off the pink furisode kimono, which had purple flower patterns running around the sleeves and bottom. Her fingers were likewise free of the red nail paint.
Hiyori had to put her hand on her guard to walk with the exceptionally tall geta sandals without effort. However, she seemed to have superb balance and leg strength. She smacked the huge Orochi with enough force to leave a mark, indicating that she also had a fair amount of arm strength. She was already solid and quick enough to drop-kick her sibling when she was young.
Hiyori has also proven to be a very skilled actor and manipulator. She uses her charm and excellent acting abilities to trick some crooked guys into handing her their entire fortune. She deceived Orochi and everyone at the feast into thinking she passed away by carrying fake blood packs, with Denjiro's help.
She covered him with a Seastone nail during the Raid on Onigashima while Orochi carelessly listened to her music to prevent him from transforming. She has been playing the shamisen since she was a young girl, and she continued to do so while learning to be a geisha, displaying her prodigious musical aptitude.
This was verified when she performed an alluring song that utterly mesmerised Orochi, his guests, and the other courtesans. Hiyori also has some medical training because she was able to tend to Zoro's significant shoulder wound from Kamazo.
Hiyori was very close to her parents. Her reaction to their deaths was so traumatic that she was mute for a long time. She has the utmost respect for her samurai father, Kozuki Oden. Hiyori was also loved and respected by Oden, who, at his passing, left Hiyori one of his swords, Enma. Sukiyaki claims that Hiyori's willingness to give Zoro Enma is partly because Hiyori recognises Oden in Zoro's swordsmanship.
Momonosuke, Hiyori's older brother, has a special place in her heart because she spent 20 years looking for him. She used to play practical jokes on Momonosuke by dropping kicks on him. Momonosuke also respected Hiyori's choice to give Zoro the sword Enma, which belonged to their father.
Momonosuke's lone regret was not being able to reunite with his sister as he was about to be killed by Kaidou. Hiyori was brought to tears by her older brother's speech when Momonosuke was appointed the next shogun of Wano, and she then gave him a tearful embrace. Despite this, Hiyori still possesses some childlike traits because she still favours dropkicks to tease Momonosuke.
Toko served as Hiyori's kamuro while she was the oiran Komurasaki. She receives a lot of love from Hiyori. When the shogun tried to kill her for laughing at him, she tried to protect Toko from Orochi. As a result, Kyoshiro "killed" Komurasaki.
When Orochi sent an assassin after Toko and escaped the Flower Capital with her, Hiyori made another attempt to defend the young girl. Toko was granted permission to return to the Flower Capital after Wano was released from the Beasts Pirates' grip so the two may live happily together.
After Hiyori's parents passed away, Kawamatsu took on the role of guardian as one of her father's retainers. After Hiyori was severely traumatised, Kawamatsu did everything he could to raise her and make her happy, including dancing and cracking jokes to lift her spirits. After a long separation, they were delighted to see one other again, with Hiyori breaking down in tears.
She ran into Denjiro while he was posing as "Kyoshiro," he was tearfully relieved to see her alive. He then told her who he really was, and took the position of her second guardian after finding out what had happened to Kawamatsu. He brought her up and trained her to become a geisha. As Hiyori sends Denjiro the money she stole from dishonest men for him to covertly deliver to people experiencing poverty, she is also the only one who is aware of Denjiro's true identity as the heroic thief Ushimitsu Kozo.
Hiyori outraged the shogun during Orochi's feast at the Flower Capital. Denjiro was forced to stage her demise to appear merciful to the samurai and keep her from being married to Orochi. After she disclosed her true identity to him, he saved her again at Onigashima when Orochi tried to kill her.
Following Kawamatsu and Denjiro, Zoro is her third protector and saviour. Hiyori was deeply impressed by his strength when he saved her from Kamazo. He praised her once she had healed his wounds. Zoro shows her that he believes her when he tells her that her brother is alive after knowing her name.
Hiyori has also shown how much she trusts Zoro by telling him who she really is, cuddling up to him during a chilly night, and sticking by his side when pursued by the Oniwabanshu. She showed even more faith in Zoro by not asking him how he obtained Shusui or accusing him of stealing it She also offered Enma as a replacement despite Kawamatsu's objections.
Hiyori harbours a great deal of hatred and disgust for Orochi, not only because he was one of the two people responsible for her parents' unjust death but also because of Orochi's sickening cruelty to the many Wano residents, including her tyrannical oppression of the poor by making them live in wastelands under the control of the Beast Pirates and survive only on leftover food.
He even went so far as to feed them faulty SMILE fruits. It is also revealed that she always wears a mask when playing Orochi's favourite song, Moon Princess, so she can hide her anger and sorrow because the music was also her late father's favourite. She also said she wanted to murder Orochi by her own hands.
When Orochi pleads for his life, Hiyori is unmoved by his deception since she knows how Orochi tricked her father into embarrassing himself. Once more, Orochi tries to win Hiyori over by promising to acknowledge Oden's legacy, but Hiyori throws off her mask and tells him to stop while proudly yelling out her name and crying.
Bingo, Bongo and Bungo were three men in love with Hiyori, who was under the cover of being Komurasaki. She would manipulate their feelings for her when they first met to force them to give up all their money and possessions in exchange for her freedom.
Hiyori went after the three because she knew they were part of an arson ring that destroyed the lives of many innocent people. She left them broke and unable to support themselves after taking all their money. Later, the three of them failed in their attempt to murder her in retaliation. Due to her activities, the three are compelled to reside in Ebisu Town with little chance of support.
As the highest-ranking courtesan of Wano, Komurasaki was incredibly well-liked by the people who resided in the Flower Capital due to her tremendous beauty, sophisticated charisma, and mannerism.
Everyone in the city was profoundly saddened by her passing and lamented her loss after she was apparently slain by Kyoshiro. The public now knows who she really is due to the Raid on Onigashima.
Due to Hiyori's unrivalled beauty, charisma, and talent as a geisha, every one of her coworkers, especially her fellow geishas, held a great deal of respect and admiration for her while she went by the alias Komurasaki. Hiyori's fellow geishas were horrified and heartbroken when Kyoshiro appeared to have slain Hiyori in retaliation for defying Orochi.
Hiyori has teased Zoro at times but they are simply allies in nature.
Hiyori and Zoro are just good friends. She holds great respect towards Zoro but hasn’t shown any signs of having any deep feelings towards him.
It has not been revealed who Hiyori is in love with.
