The Buzzard Attack Chopper in GTA V maintains its original design and features from previous versions. Notably, the small light on the front face can be turned on or off like other vehicles, while the FLIR camera/searchlight only operates when the engine is on.
The rear bay has been modified to accommodate two occupants, thanks to repositioned ammo belts, slight cut-outs in the stub wings, and the addition of side steps. In the enhanced version, the flight instrument panel utilizes a specialized "Flyer" dial set derived from the Maverick and Police Maverick models.
The Buzzard Attack Chopper is now a fully established aircraft used by law enforcement and military personnel. NPC pilots have the ability to operate the mounted camera/searchlight, aiming it at their targets similar to the Police Maverick. The aircraft is typically found in black, but alternative color options are also available. It retains its weaponry of miniguns and rocket launchers, which remain unchanged from the previous iteration.
The Chopper maintains its nimble and agile handling. Despite its compact size, the Buzzard remains a fast helicopter, reaching a top speed of around 135 knots, although it may lose altitude at full speed. Its versatility is evident in its ability to land in tight areas where larger helicopters would struggle, thanks to its small profile and stable landing capabilities.
The increased passenger capacity allows for quick transportation and provides additional defensive capabilities.
Powered by a single turboshaft engine, the Buzzard produces a faster-paced rotor sound with moderate noise. In terms of defense, the Buzzard's maneuverability makes it easier to evade homing missiles, but it is vulnerable to standard explosives and sniper rounds, with just a few hits enough to destroy it. The large cockpit windows expose the pilot to enemy gunfire, and sustained damage will cause engine smoke and eventual failure.
In terms of weaponry, the Buzzard is equipped with miniguns and rocket launchers. The miniguns have a high fire rate of 900 rounds per minute and are highly accurate, capable of destroying vehicles and aircraft with sustained fire.
The rocket launchers can fire guided or unguided missiles, with effective tracking capabilities but potential for missed targets. The co-pilot can operate the missiles using a mounted camera, although with reduced firing rate and travel speed.
This vehicle cannot be modified.

Despite the description saying it "hardly falls like a stone from the sky", ironically it is destroyed numerous times throughout the GTA V story.
The front-mounted spotlight can be moved depending of where the player is looking, having a fast rotation speed. It is noticeable when switching to the cinematic camera, where the same device could keep its direction.
