Close Shave Achievement in GTA 5

To unlock the Close Shave achievement in GTA V, the player has to complete all 15 Knife Flights and 50 Under the Bridge challenges in the game.

Knife Flights is a challenge to fly a plane with fixed wings between two buildings with the wings vertically aligned. There are 15 Knife Flights to be completed. Refer to the Knife Flights wiki page for details on all 15 locations.

There are 50 Under the Bridge challenges in GTA V located all around San Andreas. An aircraft has to be maneuvered under these bridges to complete these challenges. A helicopter can also be used for the Under the Bridge challenges, but not for Knife Flights. Refer to the Under The Bridge wiki page for details on the location of all 50 bridges.

1. Due to their better controls, helicopters should be used rather than planes for the Under The Bridge challenges; many bridges do not allow much space to pass underneath.
2. While attempting Knife Flights, the Mallard or Duster should be used for new pilots whereas the P-996 LAZER and Besra are suitable for experienced pilots. Helicopters cannot be used to complete this mission.
