The Marquis in GTA V is a sleek and modernized luxury yacht with a bulkier hull, silver/chrome rails on the bow and quarters of the stern, and thinner frames on the port and starboard sides. It is based on Adjutor Yachts and features a wooden finish on the main deck and additional living quarters with opaque windows, winches, and cleats.
The boat has a bermuda rig on top, with decorative sails that do not serve any practical purpose. The quarterdeck has large bench seats, smaller seats, and a helm with small instruments. The boat may spawn with two decorative sails attached to the mast or no sails at all. The color scheme of the Marquis has also been updated with a secondary color on the lower portion of the hull.
The Marquis is one of the slowest boats in the game, but has improved handling in comparison to the 3D Universe. It is powered by a single inboard engine that has a low-revving sound, and is not ideal for wanted levels due to being easily caught by police predators. However, its heavy weight allows it to push smaller boats easily.
The Marquis has a solid mast and is slightly more responsive than its previous iterations, but its speed remains slow. The boat is not affected by waves and does not suffer easily while traveling through them.
This vehicle cannot be modified.
Father/Son - Michael and Franklin chase down Michael's stolen Marquis to rescue Jimmy. This Marquis is only a prop in the mission.
The Multi Target Assassination - The second juror is seen in a Marquis with a female companion.
Often found sailing along the west coast of San Andreas mostly near the Chumash pier.
Can be found docked at the Puerto Del Sol Marina docks.
Can be purchased on the DockTease website for $413,990.
The keel of the vessel is not solid and clips through the ground when beached. This is probably intentional in order for it to navigate through shallow waters..
In GTA Vice City, there are letters on the back of the boat which read "Marquis 69," which is one of the many references to the 69 sex position.
In GTA Vice City, this boat is one of the boats used by the French agents during the mission All Hands on Deck!, the others being the Tropic and Dinghy.
