Sandking XL In GTA 5

The design of the Sandking XL in GTA V draws strong inspiration from the third-generation Ford Super Duty truck, with hints of design elements from earlier generations, such as the tail lights. The split headlights resemble those found in various generations of Chevrolet Silverado pickups.

Unlike the Sadler, another vehicle in the game, the Sandking XL does not feature the characteristic "dip" along the beltline near the mirror seen in Ford F-series trucks.

As the name implies, the Sandking XL is a full-size pickup truck with an extended XL wheelbase. It is equipped with rugged and heavily treaded tires, along with visible impact struts that are suspended from the center of the truck and extend down to the wheels. The blue shock absorbers and exposed springs contribute to its off-road aesthetic.

The Sandking XL offers impressive ground clearance, allowing it to easily overcome obstacles and even clear low-profile cars. Its single cam V8 engine provides good power and torque, further enhancing its off-road capabilities. However, compared to its smaller counterpart, the Sandking SWB, the XL version has a larger wheelbase, resulting in a less effective turning radius and slower acceleration.

On paved roads, the Sandking XL's handling is subpar, as its heavy body leads to lower levels of grip. Off-road, the truck performs better but falls short of being the top off-roader due to its weight and long wheelbase. Upgrading the suspension can improve its handling. The exposed tires make it vulnerable to gunfire unless bulletproof tires are installed.

Initially lacking full 4WD, a game update addressed this issue, making the Sandking XL highly capable off-road. The engine sound resembles that of the Landstalker, but with higher revs, resembling a high-revving diesel engine.

This vehicle does not appear in any missions of GTA V.

• Can be purchased by the player from Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $45,000.

• The Sandking XL for some reason has no B-pillars, leaving the back doors attached to thin air.

• The default radio stations for the Sandking XL are Vinewood Boulevard Radio, Los Santos Rock Radio, Radio Mirror Park.
