The Pistol in GTA V is based on the Taurus PT92AF. This weapon has the Hawk & Little lettering as well as the logo on the body. The Pistol also has a few features from the Colt M1911. This firearm has a mag capacity of 12 rounds which can be upgraded to 16 rounds with the extended clip.
A flashlight and suppressor can also be attached to the Pistol. It has a small portion of a picatinny rail at the front for the flashlight attachment.
The Pistol is a very basic weapon and is useful only in the early stages of the game. The fire rate of this weapon is higher while clicking instead of holding down the fire button. It can kill enemies with armor in 3-5 shots to the body while pedestrians can be taken down in 2 shots as well.
The accuracy of this weapon is quite good for a handgun. It can be used in close to medium range gunfights.
