Name | Police Prison Bus |

Vehicle Type | Prison transport vehicle |
Body Style | Bus |
Capacity | 11 |
Appearance(s) | The Lost and Damned GTA V GTA Online |
The design of the Police Prison Bus in GTA V combines elements from various heavy vehicles. The cowl design resembles the International Harvester S-Series, while the headlights and grille bear a loose resemblance to the Chevrolet Kodiak. The bus body is based on the Blue Bird CV200, modified for inmate transportation and protection for the Alderney State Correctional Facility.
The front section shares similarities with the Yankee, but with a bulkier bumper, additional vent details, and a Liberty City license plate. The bus retains its overall design from The Lost And Damned with some color and detailing changes, including black bumpers and grille, and Bolingbroke Penitentiary State Prison emblems.
The Police Prison Bus offers a basic performance suitable for its role. It is slow and heavy, but its weight and armor compensate for its lack of speed. While it has a relatively high top speed for a bus, its braking is poor and its handling is average, with a tendency to tip over during fast cornering.
The rear-wheel-drive layout makes it less capable off-road compared to its TLAD counterpart, although it can still handle uneven terrain due to its suspension. It is equipped with a twin-cam straight 4 turbocharged engine, coupled with a 4-speed gearbox, and its engine sound is similar to other buses in the game.
This vehicle cannot be modified.
Father/Son - When approaching the Elysian Freeway Bridge, a prison bus will be seen driving on the opposite side of the bridge.
The Police Prison Bus can be found parked at multiple locations in the Bolingbroke Penitentiary.
In the original version (PlayStation 3/Xbox 360) of the game, the bus was named "Police Prison Bus" upon entry. In the enhanced version (PlayStation 4/Xbox One/PC) of the game, the bus is named simply "Prison Bus".
In The Lost And Damned, despite being associated with the law enforcement, the Toll Booths still consider it a civilian vehicle.
The hazard lights are modeled like "tinted windows", showing the inside in a certain angle. This was later corrected in GTA V and GTA Online.
