Surveying The Score Mission In GTA 5

Surveying The Score is a storyline mission and a preparation mission for The Big Score carried out by all three protagonists and Lester Crest. At the start of the mission Michael has to drive to the Vanilla Unicorn strip club that Trevor just took over, where Lester asks to meet him. Franklin also arrives shortly followed by another argument between Michael and Trevor which is interrupted by Lester’s arrival. Lester instructs the trio what they have to do forming two pairs, Michael and Franklin, and Trevor and Lester.

Michael and Franklin have to drive down to the Union Depository and observe the security at the entrance while Lester and Trevor drive to Sandy Shores airfield and return back to the city in a chopper. Michael and Franklin drive towards the back entrance where the securicars enter the Union Depository and wait for Trevor and Lester to do their thing.

Trevor has to follow the two securicars driving through town in the helicopter with Lester moving towards the Union Depository while Lester observes their route and plans accordingly. They search for a spot where they can take over the securicars without alerting the police or any security.

After the securicars reach the Union Depository, Lester asks Trevor to fly above the whole that is being dug for the new LS Metro. He takes a look inside to help with creating his plan. Once he has enough info Trevor flies him back to Sandy Shores airfield. Michael also drops Franklin back home after which the mission ends.

After Mission

After this mission, Trevor visits Michael at the De Santa residence and asks him about Brad. Not satisfied by Michael’s response,Trevor leaves for North Yankton, back where Michael’s fake funeral took place 9 years ago to find the answers for himself. This leads to a face off between Michael and Trevor who find themselves pointing guns at each other.

Trivia

If the player drives Franklin to his house after switching between Michael and Trevor several times, then Franklin will walk inside his house, but the mission will fail for "abandoning Franklin" when Michael drives off.
If Deep Inside has not been completed, then Molly Schultz will message Franklin and berate him for the outstanding JB 700. During her message, she will incorrectly spell Devin Weston's surname as "Westin".
If the player switches to Trevor and Lester immediately upon starting the mission and drives with them up the highway, they get to hear the two argue about respect.
In the GTA Online mission Escape Escort, which takes place months before the main story, the player has to escort three criminals after robbing the Union Depository, contradicting Trevor's comments about it never being robbed before during this mission.
