Anaguma in Naruto

Anaguma and his partner successfully captured Rokuro and boarded the Thunder Train with their bounty. However, things turned surprisingly when they woke up in a sealed room. Boruto Uzumaki filled them in on the situation, revealing unsuccessful escape attempts by others. Yatsume inquired about Rokuro's danger level, and Boruto warned of the threat.

Oga entered, claiming they survived deadly gases on the train and were in quarantine. To their shock, Oga revealed his intention to test their ability to avoid death. Anaguma's partner played along, drawing a death card and facing immediate execution. The first experiment placed them in a room with a collapsing platform over a chasm. Anaguma, along with Boruto, worked to save captive civilians as chaos ensued.

Despite Batta's Wind Release worsening the situation, Anaguma used water threads to hold the platform together. Eventually, the threads gave out, and Rokuro saved Anaguma briefly. When Rokuro asked Kakesu to release his restraints for a technique, Anaguma warned against it. Ignoring the caution, Rokuro dropped him, leading to Kakesu's fall.

The twist came when the real Anaguma was found alive in suspended animation, part of Oga's genjutsu. Boruto's refusal to give up on Yatsume, the real Oga, led to her waking up and freeing everyone. Anaguma and his partner maintained custody of Rokuro after the ordeal.
