When Yuki, the white hawk, fell from her nest as a chick, Tsuzura found her and cared for her, making her his pet. In the Labyrinth Game Arc, as Tsuzura works to help Yuki get used to living in the wild, Boruto Uzumaki offers to help train Yuki.
They became close, and Tsuzura used Yuki to send messages to Boruto. However, when Tsuzura's mom, Mozu, discovered his interests that didn't relate to business, she decided to take Yuki away and sell her to a taxidermist. Tsuzura tried to escape with Yuki, and Mozu sent security after them.
Sasuke intervened, offering his Senri Hawk for Yuki and Tsuzura. After leaving, Sasuke's hawk, under genjutsu, freed the captive animals from Mozu's compound. When Mozu demanded the hawk back, Tsuzura stood up to her. Yuki stayed with Tsuzura, and Sasuke left him in Maruta's care to become his apprentice.
