Uzumaki Clan in Naruto

The Uzumaki Clan members are descendants of Asura Otsutsuki, the younger son of Hagoromo Otsutsuki. They are said to be distant relatives of the Senju clan over the years.

The people of this village were in very close ties with the Hidden Leaf Village despite being members of the Hidden Eddy village. The Hidden Leaf even has its crest on their uniforms, to signify their relationship.

The Uzumaki Clan was most famous for its incredible Sealing Jutsu. Because of this, over the years they send over members of their clan to be Jinchuriki of the Nine-tails. This was also because of their high life force and chakra reserves which allowed them to become the Jinchuriki for a long time.

During an unknown war, the Uzumaki clan fails to defend themselves as they were targeted by many Shinobi. Eventually, the Hidden Eddy Village was destroyed, upon which they took refuge in many parts of the country.

Kushina Uzumaki was a Jinchuriki of the Nine-tails. She married Minato Namikaze, who would become the Hokage. They would then have a child called Naruto Uzumaki. However, shortly after giving birth, Kushina and Minato pass away while sealing the Nine-Tails inside Naruto.

Naruto Uzumaki grows up and saves the world from almost certain death, becomes a hero and then the Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. He is the current Hokage and is highly respected by the people of his village.

All clans have leaders who think about the Clan’s future and work towards it. The Uzumaki clan is not an exception. These are the few known leaders of the Uzumaki Clan:

Ashina Uzumaki

The only known leader of the Uzumaki clan before its downfall. Ashina was around during Hashirama’s time and had close ties with him. He is seen in important functions of the Senju Clan.

Naruto Uzumaki

The current Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. He manages to save the world and treats everyone in the village as family. He is favored by everyone and is a highly respected member of Konoha.

There are also a few members of the clan who, despite not being a leader, contributed to the village or the clan while not being in a position of power. Here are some:

Kushina Uzumaki

Kushina saved the Village from the Nine-tails while it was rampaging and also provided services as a Jinchuriki. Despite being bullied, she still managed to consider the village her family.

Karin Uzumaki

Karin saved Sasuke Uchiha’s life on multiple occasions with her incredibly strong healing technique. Although she wasn’t the strongest, she still managed to contribute to the overall success, helping kill Danzo and contributing greatly in the war.

Boruto Uzumaki

Although Boruto doesn’t seem to have the Chakra reserve of an Uzumaki, he still manages to prove over and over that he is a prodigy. According to Kakashi, he has the resilience of his father and the genius of his grandfather. He helped in taking down Otsutsuki.

The Uzumaki possessed many abilities and Jutsu that belonged to them. They specialize in sealing Jutsu, making most of their Jutsu Fuinjutsu. Some of their abilities are:
