Life of Jigen

A long time ago, Kaguya Otsutsuki came to Earth, but she didn't treat Jigen very nicely. After she left him, Isshiki Otsutsuki came along and tried to harm Jigen. To survive, Isshiki used a sneaky trick – he shrank himself and went inside Jigen's ear.

Once inside Jigen, Isshiki started taking nutrients from Jigen's body and over time, he gained more and more control over Jigen's body. Later, Isshiki put his special mark called Kāma on Jigen But Jigen's body wasn't strong enough to handle all of Isshiki's power. So, Isshiki didn't fully come back to life in Jigen. He decided to wait for a better, stronger body to come along to be his new vessel.

Isshiki used Jigen's body to create a secret group called Kara. Jigen then bought a boy named Kawaki from his bad father for a lot of money. He wanted to use Kawaki as a possible new body for himself. When Jigen took custody of Kawaki, he pretended to be like a new dad to him.

But he only cared about using Kawaki as a vessel. Jigen tried to give Kawaki the special Kāma mark, just like he had, in an experiment with the help of a scientist in Kara named Amado Sanzu. Sadly, all the other boys who got the mark, except for Kawaki, didn't survive.

Even though Jigen promised to keep Kawaki safe, he made Kawaki go through really tough training to control the Kama mark. Jigen treated him badly and only saw him as a vessel, not a person and would even hurt Kawaki when he asked questions. Jigen also had his body changed a lot using special ninja tools made by Amado. They modified his body to make him even more powerful.

Isshiki had a plan to feed both Jigen and himself to a creature called the Ten-Tails. This was all to make the Ten-Tails turn into the God Tree but because Jigen's health and strength were not so good, the Chakra Fruit that would come out of the tree would need to be of better quality.

In the anime, there's another person in Kara named Inner Oga, and she gets some special improvements to help Amado with his research on the human heart. But when she tried to study Jigen's heart, Isshiki got really mad and thought it was like a betrayal. He damaged a part of her brain, and she managed to escape from that situation.

In the anime, Jigen gathered his team, the Inners, for a meeting. He told them that one of their places in Amegakure was destroyed by someone from the lower ranks called an Outer. Later, they tried to grow another God Tree, but it didn't work out as planned. Jigen had a private talk with a guy named Victor, who said that another member named Deepa had done something wrong.

Jigen wasn't sure if Victor was telling the truth, but he gave him a warning and didn't punish him this time. In Ao Arc, Jigen talked to Amado about Kawaki's development. They were in something called "Phase 3" of their plan, but Amado thought the data they had was still not strong enough for Phase 3. Jigen decided to send Kawaki out for a test. A guy named Victor offered a special blimp for the test.

But during the transfer onto the blimp, something went wrong, and the blimp crashed. Jigen found out about this problem. Jigen then had a meeting with the other members of Kara to talk about this urgent situation. He told them that they must get Kawaki back, no matter what.

Jigen didn't trust Victor's story about what happened in the Land of Valleys and blamed another Kara member, Deepa. Jigen had Deepa's body brought back, and Amado fixed his brain to find out the truth about Victor's betrayal. Then, Jigen got rid of Deepa because he didn't need him anymore and told another Kara member, Koji Kashin, to go deal with Victor.

When Amado checked Jigen's body, Jigen told him that he thought the blimp crash wasn't caused by Victor but by someone else who took advantage of Victor's betrayal. Amado agreed to investigate this. In the Kawaki Arc, there's a part where Jigen is having a meal with Delta.

She was getting impatient about getting Kawaki back, and Jigen said she could help, but she had to follow another guy named Koji's plan. Later, Delta got beaten by the Seventh Hokage, and when Jigen asked what Koji was doing, Delta said he was waiting to capture Kawaki because he wanted to study a boy named Boruto, who got a special mark like theirs. Jigen figured out that a powerful guy named Momoshiki Otsutsuki was involved.

Jigen went to a secret place that you can only reach using special ninja magic, and there he talked to a big creature called Ten-Tails. The creature tried to attack him but couldn't reach him. Jigen said it was too early because he needed to complete his new body. Then he used his special mark, Kāma, to absorb the creature's energy, and he transformed into an Otsutsuki, someone who was connected to Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.

After this, Jigen planned to visit Boruto and Kawaki in Konoha at the Naruto house. It's Jigen wanted to take Kawaki back using a special mark they both had. He teleported to Naruto's house, but before he could do anything, he saw another person named Koji's toad, and Koji burned it up.

Jigen then said he didn't want any trouble and he just wanted Kawaki. But Naruto didn't like that and attacked Jigen. Jigen easily stopped Naruto by using special rods to pin him down. Then, he turned to Kawaki and told him that his rebellious time and "vacation" were over.

Kawaki tried to fight back, but Jigen held him tight. Jigen didn't like that Kawaki preferred his artificial arm over the one with the Kāma mark. He said the arm was just for keeping an eye on him, like a tracker. Jigen got angry and twisted Kawaki's hand, saying he was the only one who really cared about him, not Naruto.

Kawaki's mark started to change and grow a horn, which surprised Jigen. Naruto kicked Jigen away, and Jigen got ready to fight. He wanted to kill Naruto for getting in the way.

Kawaki offered to go with Jigen if he left Naruto alone, but Jigen changed his mind because he saw that Naruto wouldn't give up. It was a big, intense moment in the story.

Jigen wanted to leave Naruto in another world, but Sasuke showed up and kicked Jigen away. Jigen recognized Sasuke because of his special eye and was annoyed that he had to fight them. Jigen was really strong and could dodge their attacks and use black rods to hurt them.

He didn't seem to be bothered by their attacks because of his Kāma powers. Sasuke figured out how Jigen's power worked, and Jigen was impressed by his cleverness. He decided to go after Sasuke first.

Naruto and Sasuke started to understand how Jigen fought and were giving him a hard time. Jigen admitted they were doing well and said thanks for showing him their weaknesses. He also warned them that they wouldn't be so lucky next time and showed the full power of his Kāma mark. It was a big showdown between them.

Naruto and Sasuke didn't like Jigen's new look, but Sasuke had important information about someone named Isshiki and his big plan. Isshiki wanted to drain all the chakra from the planet, which made Jigen really angry because Sasuke knew where he hid the Ten-Tails.

Naruto and Sasuke fought Jigen with all their power and they transformed into strong avatars, but Jigen was even stronger. He defeated them and was about to finish them

but then, something strange happened. The center of Jigen's body started to crack, and it seemed like he couldn't handle it.

Isshiki, the person inside Jigen, said he wanted Kawaki. Jigen decided to keep Naruto alive but kill Sasuke because of his special powers. Naruto created some copies of himself to hold Jigen back while he convinced Sasuke to escape.

Jigen wanted to capture Boruto because of his Kama and he then put Naruto in a big jar-like thing. But right after that, Jigen started to collapse because his body couldn't handle it anymore. He even shed a tear. Isshiki was really upset with Jigen for not being a good enough vessel, and Jigen teleported away.

Jigen returned to Kara's headquarters and had some medical treatment by Amado. Amado scolded him for being reckless with his body and said it would take a couple of days for him to recover fully.

Jigen was excited because he saw that Kawaki's Kama mark was evolving quickly, and he believed it was because of Boruto's Kama mark. He thought both of them would become powerful Ōtsutsuki and make a God Tree to take the planet's chakra. Jigen told Amado that everything would go as planned.

Later, Koji showed up, and Jigen was talking to Code about guarding the Ten-Tails. Jigen welcomed Koji at first, but when Koji asked how he got to Kawaki so easily, Jigen got cold and revealed that he knew Koji and Amado had betrayed him. He also said they were behind the airship crash that let Kawaki escape.

Jigen wanted to get answers from Koji and maybe even kill him, but it turned out Koji was just a shadow clone. Jigen and Koji had a face-off. Koji didn't care about the Chakra Fruit; he just wanted to kill Jigen. Jigen thought Koji was just a tool with one goal. They started fighting, and Jigen used his special mark, Kama. Koji did something unexpected and summoned big flames. Jigen couldn't absorb these flames because they didn't have chakra. So, the flames started to burn him.

Jigen tried to shrink the flames, but he didn't have enough power left, so his body got burnt, and he died along with Isshiki. But, because Kawaki's Kāma hadn't taken all of Isshiki's data yet, Isshiki came back to life inside Jigen's body. This made him powerful enough to make the flames disappear.

In a battle with Naruto to find Kawaki, Isshiki used a special mode called Baryon Mode. This mode drained his life even more because he didn't have much time left to live. Kawaki made a shadow clone to trick Isshiki, and that's when Jigen's body finally couldn't handle it anymore. It turned into dust, and that's when Isshiki died. So, Isshiki's time came to an end during the fight.

Jigen’s Personality

Jigen, also known as the vessel for Isshiki Otsutsuki, possessed a multifaceted personality as depicted in the Boruto anime and manga. His character exhibited several distinct traits that defined his actions and interactions with others. One of the most notable aspects of Jigen's personality was his ruthlessness.

He showed no hesitation in using extreme measures to achieve his objectives and rarely displayed mercy. His actions often highlighted his unwavering commitment to his goals, which included completing the "vessel" project to secure the continuation of Isshiki's plans.

Jigen was a master of manipulation, skilled at convincing others to serve his interests while concealing his true intentions. He successfully manipulated Kawaki into believing he would provide safety and care, all the while intending to use him as a vessel for Isshiki Ōtsutsuki. His manipulative tendencies extended to his dealings with other Kara members, as he carefully concealed his true motivations from his subordinates.

Ambition ran deep within Jigen as he harbored grand plans for the future. He was resolute in his desire to create a God Tree and consume the planet's chakra, which were central to Isshiki's objectives. Jigen's unyielding determination was a driving force behind his character.

Control was a central theme in Jigen's personality. He sought to maintain absolute control over those around him, with Kawaki serving as a prime example. He regarded Kawaki as a mere tool to fulfill his ambitions and was highly uncomfortable when circumstances veered beyond his control.

Jigen's obsession with power was evident in his actions. He coveted Isshiki's formidable abilities and was willing to go to great lengths to acquire that power. This included absorbing the Ten-Tails and utilizing the Kama mark.

He was often perceived as cold and aloof, seldom exhibiting emotions or forming genuine emotional connections with others. His distant demeanor was consistent with his focus on his grand ambitions and control.

Jigen exuded confidence in his abilities and the success of his plans. He remained composed despite adversity, reflecting his unwavering determination to realize his goals. Within Kara, Jigen was commanding and exercised authority over its members. He did not tolerate dissent or disobedience, making him a demanding and controlling leader.

While typically composed, Jigen was not immune to anger. Certain triggers, such as betrayals or challenges to his authority, could provoke visible displays of anger. He was unyielding in his response to insubordination.

Jigen’s Appearance

Jigen had a unique appearance in the anime. He looked pretty young despite having ancient origins, which was thanks to the influence of Isshiki Otsutsuki. He was pretty tall and had light skin.

He had a distinctive hairstyle. His head was shaved, but he had a long, black mohawk of hair that was tied into a ponytail reaching all the way to his lower back. His face had pronounced eye ridges, but he didn't have any eyebrows. His nose was broad, and his eyes were large and black.

Over time, after Isshiki took control of him, Jigen got a diamond-shaped Kāma mark on his chin, and there was a Roman numeral "Ⅳ" tattooed below his left eye. His stomach area appeared completely black.

Jigen paid attention to his nails, with black nail polish on both his fingernails and toenails. He had five red earrings on the top of each ear and an additional one at the bottom of each ear. When he first appeared, he wore a black hooded cloak with maroon lining, typical for Kara members. He also had dark capri pants, sandals, and a dark collar.

In later appearances, he changed his attire to a flowing white robe. This robe had black vertical lines on the sleeves and coattails. He fastened it at the waist with a tasseled belt. He wore a matching red hair tie, collar, waistband, bracers, and pants. All of these were decorated with red pearl studs, and he had simple sandals to complete his look.

Jigen’s Abilities

Jigen was the leader of Kara, and he had been modified with special ninja tools, making him incredibly powerful. He was the strongest member of the organization, even more potent than the other Inners. His strength came from having Isshiki Ōtsutsuki inside him, a powerful celestial being.

Just by feeling his power, Ino Yamanaka thought it would be good for the Seventh Hokage (Naruto) to face him with some help. Even when he didn't use his full power, Jigen could still fight against Naruto and Sasuke, who are two of the most powerful ninjas in history. But only when Isshiki decided to give Jigen his full power could Jigen defeat Naruto and Sasuke. Before that, the two pushed Jigen to his limits, and he couldn't win. He managed to seal Naruto and almost killed Sasuke.

Naruto and Sasuke left Jigen very weak, and he had to take a break for two days (or ten days in the anime) to recover. Jigen possessed remarkable ninjutsu abilities as the vessel for Isshiki Otsutsuki. These abilities were derived from the celestial being within him.

Black Rods: Jigen had the power to create black rods that were capable of draining the chakra from his victims. These rods were highly effective at weakening his opponents.

Shrinking and Enlarging Matter: He could shrink objects down to microscopic sizes and just as quickly return them to their normal size. This allowed him to manipulate matter with extraordinary speed.

Pocket Dimension: Jigen had access to a unique pocket dimension where he stored various objects. He could bring these items into the real world with the slightest gesture, such as a wave of his hand or a flick of his fingers.

Microscopic Attacks: He used this ability to launch black rods at microscopic sizes into his foes' bodies, leaving them completely unaware of the impending danger. Then, he would enlarge the rods within the bodies of his enemies, causing severe injuries.

Invisibility and Teleportation: Jigen could apply his matter manipulation abilities to himself, allowing him to disappear from sight and move swiftly across the battlefield. It appeared as if he could teleport, catching even skilled ninja like Naruto and Sasuke off-guard.

Enhanced Abilities with Kama: When Jigen activated the full power of his Kama mark, his abilities were amplified. He could instantly summon large black rods to incapacitate his enemies. He could even create these rods from his neck to block attacks, as demonstrated against Sasuke.

Jigen, under the control of Isshiki, was an incredibly skilled fighter, whether it was in melee combat using weapons or hand-to-hand combat. He displayed remarkable speed and strength. He could easily kick Naruto away, even impressing the Hokage with his quick reactions. Jigen could catch a punch from Kawaki, who had activated Kāma, and simply squeezing his arm caused Kawaki intense pain.

He also proved to be highly durable, as he didn't suffer any injuries when Naruto kicked him in the jaw while in his Six Paths Sage Mode. With Kāma activated, Jigen was more than capable of handling Naruto in his Six Paths Sage Mode in physical combat and could have delivered a fatal blow if Sasuke hadn't intervened on both occasions.

When Jigen accessed Kama's enhanced state, he easily defeated Naruto and overpowered his shadow clones in a matter of moments. He also demonstrated impressive proficiency with a large black rod, using it to effortlessly deflect Sasuke's strikes, despite Sasuke's expertise in kenjutsu. Even when he was severely weakened after his battle with Naruto and Sasuke, he could still match Koji Kashin in hand-to-hand combat.

As Isshiki's vessel, Jigen possessed immensely potent chakra. Kawaki even compared it to Naruto in his Six Paths Sage Mode form. When he activated Kama's transformed state, his chakra was so overwhelming that it frightened Sasuke to the point of making him flee. Later on, both Sasuke and Naruto were unnerved by his chakra. Even without Kāma, his sinister chakra was strong enough to terrify Ino Yamanaka, almost causing her to collapse. This was in stark contrast to sensing Delta's chakra, which only caused a slight reaction from her.

Jigen's chakra reserves were formidable, allowing him to use his Kāma for an extended period against Naruto and Sasuke simultaneously without any issues. However, using the Kama's full power for such a long time could significantly weaken him, almost draining him of all his chakra. It took him two days to fully recover his strength after such an expenditure. Despite being in this weakened state, he still had enough chakra to battle Koji, using several of his techniques with seemingly little drain on his reserves.

Jigen had a Kama mark on his chin that granted him some incredible abilities. One of the most remarkable things was his enhanced longevity. He remained in his physical prime for over 1,000 years, thanks to this mark.

With his Kama activated, the mark would spread across his chin, eyes, and body in unique patterns. In this state, he became extremely powerful. He could take on both Naruto and Sasuke at the same time for an extended period. His physical strength was greatly increased. He could push Naruto back with a single blow, even when Naruto tried to block it.

Jigen's Kama allowed him to absorb large amounts of chakra from entities similar to tailed beasts. He could also quickly neutralize Naruto's Rasengan techniques and Sasuke's Amaterasu. Even when he shrank to a microscopic size, these attacks didn't harm him. However, he needed help to move efficiently while absorbing.

When he accessed the full power of the Kāma, it caused a horn to appear on his left temple, wrapping around the back of his skull like a crown. In this state, he became incredibly powerful. He could easily defeat both Naruto and Sasuke.

He was so fast and strong that he could dodge Sasuke's attacks, even breaking through his Susanoo's defenses with a single kick. He could also punch Naruto, making him bleed and even turning him back to his base form with just a single hit. Jigen's Kāma abilities made him an immensely formidable opponent.
