Ran recently started attending the Academy, and during the opening ceremony, he found himself in a new class. Their new teacher, Hana Kaka, was responsible for looking after the class. Ran's classmates included his sister and several children from well-known families.
Among them were the daughter of an acting duo, the Seventh Hokage's daughter, and Kae Yukiwari, the princess of the Land of Bamboo. Notably, an older student named Kawaki was also part of the class.
One eventful day, they attended a tea party at Kae's home. During the party, Kae got upset with Osuka Kamakura for ruining the event, and Ran and the others openly applauded Kae for showing her true outspoken nature.
Shortly after, Ran and his friend Suzu joined a group of students on a night investigation of the Academy's Seven Mysteries. However, their adventure took an unexpected turn when one of the mysteries turned out to be a fake, created by a student named Batora using Water Release and red paint in a bathroom. Ran and Suzu shared their spooky experiences with their classmates the next day.
In another incident, Ran ended up in a team with Doseki and Yuina during a practical lesson. The class also had to organize a play about the legendary Sannin, and Ran pitched in to help repair the damaged stage during a fight between Eiki and Kawaki.
As the festival day approached, Ran and his sister used their knowledge of the Seven Mysteries to create a fantastic haunted house booth with their friends Harika and Neon. However, when a terrorist threat loomed over the festival, they decided to stay inside for safety. After their teacher, Hana, got hurt in a terrorist attack, Ran and his classmates were happy to welcome her back when she returned from the hospital.
Since the festival got cancelled, Hana planned a different activity for them – survival training on an uninhabited island. However, things got tricky when Kikuchiyo got injured, and their food supplies mysteriously disappeared. Rumors circulated about dangerous missing-nin on the island, causing fear among the students.
Everyone formed groups to find food and search for Neon's damaged drone to tackle the challenges. Despite the initial difficulties, by nightfall, everyone enjoyed a meal together. The situation took a surprising turn when an explosion caught their attention, leading them to encounter Kawaki and Himawari. Shockingly, they revealed that Hana, their teacher, was an assassin who had harmed Kae. Himawari suggested that Hana might have kept Kae as a hostage.
Working together, the students tracked Hana and Kae to a cave. Concerned for the students' safety, Kawaki, who turned out to be a shinobi, acknowledged their help finding Kae. Despite the danger, Eiki believed they could do something, leading them to the docks to share news about the situation.
There, they met Sai, who had come to the island with Team 25 after learning about Hana's Land of Bamboo background. Eventually, they found Hana defeated, and her teacher persona struggled against the assassin. With the encouragement of her students, Hana regained control.
As Kae had to return home, the class finally performed the Sannin play and later bid her farewell at the train station.
Ran is a friendly and adventurous person. He enjoys being with his classmates and is willing to face challenges with them. Ran shows courage and curiosity, especially when dealing with mysterious situations on the uninhabited island. He cares about his teacher, Hana, and supports the class in various activities, including putting on a play. Overall, Ran seems to have a positive and helpful personality.
Ran has short blue hair and bright blue eyes. His usual outfit includes a white suit paired with a dark blue turtleneck. He adds a stylish touch with a blue scarf tied around his neck, completing his cool and coordinated look.
