Kozuchi lived with his grandpa after the old man retired. Sadly, Kozuchi died while trying to stop rogue ninjas from stealing secrets from Iwagakure. This upset Onoki, who blamed himself for Kozuchi's death because he shared the Tsuchikage ideals with him.
Feeling guilty, Onoki decided to create artificial beings to bring about lasting peace, using the remains of a White Zetsu in his research. He kept it all a secret until he was sure it would work. Once he finished making the Akuta and Fabrication, he used them to change Iwagakure, but things got out of control.
Onoki realized he messed up, knowing Kozuchi would disapprove. So, he decided to fix his mistakes and sacrificed himself to stop the threat, hoping to meet Kozuchi in the next life.
Kozuchi was a guy who believed in facing problems head-on, thanks to his grandpa's teachings. He cared a lot about protecting the peace. His grandpa's death affected him greatly, and he felt responsible, leading to Onoki's quest for peace through artificial beings.
Kozuchi was short, with fair skin, spiky black hair that had bangs framing his face, and deep blue eyes. His usual outfit included a red shirt, a grey vest, and grey pants. He was a young boy who looked a lot like Boruto Uzumaki.
