Tomari in Naruto

Very little is known about his childhood and Tomari’s past as his heritage is still shrouded in mystery. Due to his limited appearances in the series, close to nothing is known about his lineage or background other than the fact that he is a citizen of the Village Hidden in the Sand and a former Ninja Academy student.

When he was younger, Tomari played around the village with Abiru, Tsuchino, and Kashike. Gaara, who was feared by the villagers at the time, once came to see Tomari and his pals when they were playing football. As they attempted to flee from him, Gaara unintentionally attacked them. Yashamaru, however, intervened to save Tomari and his shocked companions.

Tomari and his friends continued to attack Shira with rocks while he was still a student at the academy because he was unable to perform ninjutsu and genjutsu. He eventually got over his dread of Gaara. After this incident, Tomari has not appeared since and thus due to his lack of appearance, it has not been confirmed whether he is dead or alive.

As of now, Tomari is presumed to be alive and well until any information comes to light suggesting otherwise.

Due to his lack of appearance in the series and any related information, almost nothing is known about Tomari’s personality. Based on his limited role, it can be deduced that Tomari was reputed to be slow-moving, but he had a keen sense of danger. Over the years, he overcame his original fear of Gaara. He is depicted in the anime as being prejudiced against people based on their lack of talent.

Tomari has dark eyes and black, spiky hair. He wore the customary clothing of a resident of Hidden Sand. He sported fingerless gloves, shorts, and an insulated jacket with standard sandals.

Although Tomari is a former student of Ninja Academy of the Hidden Sand Village, no information is available regarding his abilities as he most probably did not possess any. He never used any technique or showed any significant skill in his limited appearance.
