When Monkey D. Luffy was still a youngster living in Foosha Village, he would often go to Chicken and Gyoru's fish shop to purchase fresh fish. While Gyoru engaged in conversation with Luffy, Chicken could be found diligently working in the background, her face adorned with a smile.
When Vice Admiral Garp came back to Foosha Village following the conclusion of the war at Marineford, Chicken was worried for their safety as the pirates were out of control after Whitebeard’s death in the war and asked Garp if that is why he came to the village.
