Amino’s background is shrouded in mystery as she had a very limited appearance in the series. Very little is known about her, like the fact that she was from the Bamboo Village and was the daughter of the village head, Io. She first appeared in episode 484 of Naruto Shippuden, titled The Exploding Human. Amino is not a part of the Naruto manga series but does appear in the anime as well as in Sasuke Shinden: Book of Sunrise novel.
Amino was gracious to Chino and Nowaki in the anime when they arrived in the Bamboo Village and made them meals. During the attack on the Bamboo Village by exploding humans, Chino and the others had the women and children take refuge. Chino went to the refuge to check on Amino after Sasuke Uchiha defeated the attackers. However, Amino, who was also under genjutsu, walked out of the shelter now as an exploding human and caused people to flood out. Amino grabbed a knife and stabbed her neck, which caused her body to explode. This is the only instance that Amino made an appearance in the anime.
In the novel Sasuke Shinden: Book Sunrise, Amino got married and left the Bamboo Village to live in a nearby village. Amino was living her new life with her new family and soon became pregnant with her first child. She and the other villagers were slaughtered during an attack by the Dark Thunder Group just as she was about to give birth to her first child. After learning the news, her mother passed away from grief, and her father vowed retaliation.
Amino never had the chance to showcase her personality to the full extent in the series and did not have any significant role in the series. Based on her limited appearance, it can be deduced that she was a gentle girl and grew up to be a great person, as stated by others.
In the Naruto Shippuden anime, Amino appeared as a young girl. She had large brown eyes and brown hair and was often seen dressed in a tan kimono and standard sandals. Amino then appeared in the blank period in the novel. Unfortunately, her appearance as an adult and married woman was not described in the novel.
Amino was a young girl from a small village. She did not undergo the crucial training to be a shinobi and thus did not possess any battle skills or tactics. Even if she ever possessed any abilities, that is still unknown.
