Baji

Baji was the leader of the bandit gang and he used his intelligence and power to order his bandits to commit crime. He kidnapped the headman’s granddaughter and held her hostage causing the headman to ask the Hidden Leaf Village for help. The other villagers also wanted to get rid of the bandit group.

Hidden Leaf accepted the request and sent Team 7 and Team 10 to help the village in the battle against the criminals. Tofu said he wanted to help them, and both team leaders, Ashuma Sarutobi and Kakashi Hatake agreed. They made the plan to deal with them, but later came to know that Tofu was a double agent. While Kakashi and Ashuma were away, Shikamaru made the plan.

The plan went as Shikamaru predicted, and he became a hostage with the headman's granddaughter, and then he told everyone about the plan. Seeing nowhere to go, Baji threatens them by saying that he will use all Explosive Tags on himself and blow himself up with Shikamaru and the girl. Shikamaru then used Shadow Possession Jutsu to stop Baji and catch him.

He was just a selfish person who only thought about his own benefits and his life. He implied that he cared nothing for others, not even for the sake of fighting, by saying that he could start a new gang even if his gang perished. However, if being arrested is the only option, Baji is prepared to take his own life.

He has a lot of self-confidence, so he frequently assumes things are going according to plan even when they aren't. He frequently displays a sneer and usually exudes an air of arrogance.

Because of his overconfidence and arrogance, he took Team 7 and Team 10 lightly and thought that since they were only Genin, they could not harm him with their skill, allowing them to catch him.

Baji has a wave of medium black hair which almost covers one eye. He wears an olive color coat with a blue color pattern at the bottom of the coat, and under that wears an orange kimono shirt and a slim headband.

He wore dark brown trousers and normal black sandals and had an orange color strap around his waist. He has fair skin and wears bandages around his hand and the bottom of his legs.

He is a sharp-minded tactician who tries to play with people's feelings and minds through his plans but he also has two other techniques.

Secret Technique: Mouth Seal Jutsu

When applied, the target is speechless until the user removes the effect. The user will next create the seal for the particular method before asking the target a question as part of the ritual necessary for the technique. The method is quickly used if the adversary responds, rendering the subject voiceless.

The user of this deadly tactic wraps their chest with explosive tags before setting themselves off close to the opponent.
