Chishima in Naruto

Very little is known about Chishima as his past is still shrouded in mystery. Chishima was introduced in the series as an assistant of the chief advisor to the Birds Daimyo. Almost nothing is known about his childhood other than the fact that he made friends with Toki and Sagi at a young age. Additionally, he is only a part of the Naruto anime which makes him a filler, non-canon character in the series.

The Cursed Warrior Extermination arc of Naruto, episode 162, featured Chishima for the first time. In the storyline, despite Toki's (as Sagi) resistance to accepting help, Chishima is committed to the siblings (Toki and Sagi) and was willing to ask Konohagakure (Village Hidden in the Leaves) for assistance in defeating the Cursed Warrior.

He discovered Hoki's deception—a rouge ninja and the head of the Watari Ninja—and, although nearly being killed in the process, told Toki and Naruto about it. Hoki attacked and injured him to prevent Chishima from exposing his plans, but fortunately, Chishima survived Hoki's assault.

Since Chishima has not been seen or mentioned since this incident and thus it is hard to determine whether he is dead or alive. Unless new information comes to light that suggests otherwise, it is currently believed that he is alive and well.

Chishima is a kind person and it seems that he is in love with Toki. He showed true concern for the well-being of Sagi and Taki, willing to put his life on the line. To help the siblings, he went as far as to give his own to help them pay for the mission.

He was left with no food and no money but he did not hesitate to give all of his money to help them, despite his huge appetite.

He sports a pair of round glasses and has short brown hair and black eyes. He is a man with a skinny body build and frequently wears a hakama and a purple and white kimono.

Chishima serves as an assistant and lives a normal life. Based on the information available, he never received any formal combat training, thus, he doesn’t possess any battle techniques.
