Chiyomatsu in Naruto

Very little is known about Chiyomatsu’s childhood and past as his heritage is still shrouded in mystery. Due to his limited appearances in the series, close to nothing is known about his lineage or background other than the fact that he is a samurai from the Land of Iron.

Chiyomatsu first appeared in the Five Kage Summit Arc. In this arc, Chiyomatsu and a number of other samurai are dispatched to track down Sasuke Uchiha who had infiltrated their base. He separates from his companions during the search to look behind a pillar. Chiyomatsu rushes to attack when he sees a shadow but instead found a cloak that had been used as a lure to separate him from his team.

Chiyomatsu, still confused and thinking the team has already left, is struck from behind by Sasuke's unexpected attack and left unconscious. He has not appeared since this incident and thus his absence makes it impossible to say for sure whether he is dead or alive. He is currently assumed to be alive and well unless any information indicates otherwise.

Due to his lack of appearance in the series and any related information, almost nothing is known about Chiyomatsu’s personality. However, it is stated that Chiyomatsu admires shinobi to some extent.

Chiyomatsu is dressed in a typical attire of a samurai from the Land of Iron, a full-body metal grey samurai armor with a face mask that fully hides his face, and a helmet Additionally, he carries two sword sets that are fastened to his leg armor.

Chiyomatsu was unable to showcase his abilities in his spare appearance. However, he is a full-fledged samurai and is believed to be skilled in sword fighting.
