Ebizo in Naruto

During the Kazekage Rescue Mission, when Baki asked the Sand Siblings to help rescue Gaara from the Akatsuki, they initially refused because they felt disconnected from the outside world. But when they learned that Sasori was part of the Akatsuki, they changed their minds and agreed to help.

Later, when they saw Kankuro had been poisoned, Ebizo remarked on how much the village had weakened. As time passed, Ebizo was deeply saddened by the death of his sister. He had hoped it was just one of her jokes, and despite his sorrow, he couldn't help but smile at how peaceful she looked.

Ebizo, along with other villagers, stood in front of Baki and Matsuri to bid farewell to Gaara, Kankuro, and Temari as they headed to the Five Kage Summit. He told them to take good care of Gaara before they left. During one of Gaara's regular meetings with the Suna Council, Ebizo and the rest of the Council brought up the idea of Gaara getting married. The reason behind this was that Temari, Gaara's sister, would marry into a Konoha clan, and any children she had would become Konoha ninjas.

This meant that if something happened to Gaara, a Konoha ninja could claim the position of the Kazekage. So, the Council wanted Gaara to find a wife and have children. Gaara didn't like this idea, but the Council insisted that their interest in his marriage was more about making amends for making him a jinchuriki years ago than a political matter.

Unable to argue his way out of it, Gaara agreed to the marriage meeting the Council arranged for him. As Ebizo's health declined, he eventually stepped down as the head of the Suna Council, a position that Tojuro had his eye on.

Ebizo is a calm and thoughtful person, unlike his impulsive sister. He believes the village should be strong on its own and is sad when they can't save Kankuro from poison. Even though he seems uninterested most of the time, he cares about the people close to him and is sad when his sister dies. He also believes in the changing times, especially when Sakura Haruno, a skilled medical ninja, healed Kankurō.

Ebizo is not shown in anime or mentioned in the novels, but he is Jonin rank shinobi, which means he is a skilled shinobi and must have known all the basic techniques later. As the Head of the Suna Council, he is good at planning and strategies.
