In the game’s storyline, Naruto Uzumaki meets Gekomatsu in Konoha, far away from his home. Gekomatsu asks Naruto to find chakra fragments dispersed throughout the game map in order to restore the rainbow colors of his grandfather's Frog Stone. Gekomatsu will be able to build Chakra Entities, a technique allowing its user to create chakra copies of dead or living shinobi, after showing him the colors of the stone.
