Giant Insect in Boruto

Very little is known about Giant Insect, as it first appeared during Academy Arc in Boruto episode 6 titled, “The Final Lesson!”

In the arc, Shino summoned the Giant Insect when Boruto Uzumaki and Mitsuki started drowning after rescuing Shino from Nue's possession. It quickly surfaced from the water with its passengers on board and brought them safely to land.

Since Giant Insect has not been seen since this incident, it is hard to determine whether it is dead or alive. Unless new information comes to light that suggests otherwise, it is currently believed that it is alive.

There isn't much information available regarding the Giant Insect's personality as it was introduced in the series as a summon of SHino and did not showcase any kind of personality traits. As with most of the summons, it abided by its summoner’s commands.

It is a giant insect with a head big enough for the summoner to sit on with a red hide, yellow middle, and black body.

The Giant Insect is huge in size and a powerful flyer, capable of flying three passengers with ease. It can also fully submerge into the water and return with quite ease.
