Giichi in Naruto

There is much uncertainty about Giichi's past as we still don't know anything about his clan, or much about his history in the series. In the manga or its anime adaptation, he only made a few brief appearances. He debuted in The Land Where a Hero Once Lived, episode 11 of the original Naruto series.

In the arc, Giichi first helps in the construction of the Great Naruto Bridge but quits the project out of fear of Gato. Later, Inari, a young from the Land of Waves, requests his help in rescuing the Land of Waves from Gato, the owner of a smuggling business trying to gain control of the Land of Waves. Giichi refuses at first, but when he sees how bravely Inari, a young boy is behaving, he persuades the villagers to support Inari and stop Gato's reign of tyranny.

Giichi hasn't shown up since this incident and her absence makes it impossible to ascertain whether she's dead or alive. Giichi is currently assumed to be alive and well unless any information surfaces indicating otherwise.

Giichi used to be a cowardly man and wouldn’t help in building the Great Naruto Bridge out of fear of Gato. However, after witnessing Inari’s courage, he overcame his cowardly nature and rallied the villagers to attack Gato’s men.

Giichi is an old man who has short, spikey grey hair and dark eyes. He wears a greenish shirt, some pants, and a blue cloth wrapped around his forehead. He often has a white cloth draped on his shoulders.

Giichi is a construction builder and does not possess any significant combat abilities.

He debuted in the literary category with his appearance in the Naruto novel, Naruto: Innocent Heart, Demonic Blood. He debuted in the gaming industry with Naruto: Konoha Ninpocho.
