Heiji, also known as Heiji of the Rain Shelter, was in Kandachi’s team, who was the right-hand man of Hanzo. The cause of his death is unknown, but when Kabuto Yakushi was gathering strong troops of shinobi that were dead by using the Reanimation technique, he Reincarnated Heiji accidentally when he wanted to Reincarnate Hanzo. When Kabuto asked him if he was Hanzo, he said that he was the right-hand man of Hanzo’s right-hand man.

In the Fourth Shinobi world war, Kabuto used Torune Aburame to reincarnate allied forces. Heiji was one of them who was given the order to retrieve the sealed reincarnated shinobi that the Allied Shinobi Force sealed in the battle. He used his special Winding smoke technique to escape from the attack and unseal the reincarnated Third Raikage, but soon got captured by Timari’s squad.

Heiji seemed to be a proud man who didn’t want to be used by someone else. He hated the Reanimation Jutsu.

Heiji wears a standard Amegakure shinobi outfit that has a flak jacket of gray color and under that, he wears a black jumpsuit. He wears a smoke mask that has an attached Amegakure head protractor.

Heiji was skilled in using Tag Techniques. He used the Winding Smoke Technique (Swirling Smoke Jutsu) in the Fourth Shinobi World War as a smokescreen to escape from the battle arena.
