Eventually, Kankurō was able to overpower Kajūra and arrest him. The terrorist confessed to being a member of a larger terrorist group during his interrogation. Kajūra is currently under arrest and remains detained in Sunagakure.

Kajūra has not appeared since these appearances; thus, his absence makes it impossible to say whether he is dead or alive. Kajūra is currently assumed to be alive and well unless any additional information comes to light indicating otherwise.
