Very little is known about her early years, as Kisuke's Wife’s past is still shrouded in mystery. She had a brief appearance in the anime, so much so that even her name is unknown. Additionally, she had no appearances or mentions in the Naruto manga or other publications, making her a non-canon, anime-only character.

It is stated that she was a resident of Konoha, married to Kisuke Maboroshi, a Konoha’s Anbu Black Ops member. At some point, she was murdered while her husband was away, and their house was subsequently set on fire while her body was still inside.

Later, It was revealed that Sabiru, a Konoha shinobi later found out to be a traitor and a spy, had assassinated Kisuke’s Wife.

In Past Arc: The Locus of Konoha, Kisuke's Wife made her on-screen debut. In this arc, Kisuke’s soul visits his house, which was ruined by the fire. In the remains of his house, he found a tulip, a flower that his wife liked. This jogged his memory and helped him access his memories when he was alive.

After regaining his memories, Naruto Uzumaki helped him stop Sabiru from leaking sensitive information, which would have brought on many problems for the village. However, Kabuto Yakushi eliminated Kisuke, finally putting his soul to rest. After he died, he rejoined his wife in the afterlife.
