Kohari Umino was a Jonin rank Kunoichi of Konohagakure (The Village Hidden in the Leaves) and one of the shinobi who died when the Nine-tails attacked the village. She was one of the supporting characters in the Naruto anime series and manga that was written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto.

Kohari Umino was born in Konohagakure and married to Ikkaku Umino. They both had Iruka Umino as their child. The day Naruto Uzumaki was born, Obito Uchiha took control of the Nine-Tailed Beast (Kurama) and summoned it to Konoha village. During the Nine-Tailed Beast’s attack, Kohari was heavily injured. Iruka saw her mother injured, but Kohari and Ikkaku told Iruka to get away from the place, and Ikkaku also said that he would take care of Kohari. Later, Iruka found out that both his parents had died and were added to the Konoha Memorial Stone place, where all the shinobi who died during the war are buried.
Kohari Umino was kind and caring. Even when she was heavily injured, she just thought about her son Iruka's safety.
Kohari Umino had long brown hair and wore a Konohagakure flak jacket. She wore a black bandana and a head protector over it.
