Oppo appeared in Boruto: The Next Generation episode: 266 “Himawari Kidnapped.” Aniki gave him and Teru the task of kidnapping Osuka so they could ask for a ransom from her parents, as her parents are movie stars and have lots of money.

Oppo and Teru kidnapped both Osuka and Himawari and took them inside an abandoned warehouse. Oppo questioned Teru why he kidnaped Himawari too, as it was not in their plan but when Oppo told them that they could let Himawari go, Teru got furious. Meanwhile, Aniki came and recognized Himawari as the daughter of the Seventh Hokage (Naruto Uzumaki), which filled Oppo with fear.

Later, Himawari asked Oppo and Teru why they were doing this. Oppo told her their story - that they had no money or a job and because of that, they started working for Aniki. After some time, when Oppo and Teru were sleeping and Aniki was sitting at the entrance of the warehouse, Himawari and Osuka tried to escape but Aniki caught Himawari and tried to choke her to death. Oppo and Teru tried to save her but Aniki was too strong for both of them. Soon, Kawaki came to the rescue and saved Himawari and defeated Aniki.

Oppo, Teru and Aniki were taken into police custody but when Oppo and Teru were leaving, Himawari thanked them because they had tried to save her, and told them that good will come to them.

Oppo is a dumb and demotivated kind of person, but he has a kind heart. He thinks that he is good for nothing but still, he showed courage when Aniki tried to choke Himawari.
