In the movie, it was stated that Sēramu was the queen of Rōran before Sāra succeeded her as queen. Additionally, she does not have any appearance or any mention in the Naruto manga, making her a non-canon character.
In the movie, it is stated that during her reign as the queen of Rōran, Sēramu lived peacefully with her daughter and spent time with her, usually singing and playing her harp. Anrokuzan (Mukade in disguise), a rogue ninja from Sunagakure (Hidden Sand Village) and the main antagonist of the movie, approached Sēramu one day and convinced her to use the power of Ryumyaku, an ancient source of chakra, and his technological advancements to create thousands of towers for the betterment of Rōran and its citizens. However, with time, Sēramu grew suspicious of Anrokuzan and realized that he was using her to fulfill his selfish ambitions. When she refused to help him any further and halted his plans, she was mercilessly murdered by Anrokuzan. Anrokuzan used his chakra strings to stab Sēramu in her back with a blade. Later, Sāra succeeded her mother as the new queen of Rōran, unaware of the truth about Anrokuzan and her mother’s death.
Sēramu was a kind person and a generous queen. She would stop at nothing for the sake of her kingdom and its citizens. However, when she discovered Anrokuzan’s true motives, she refused to help him any further. She was also a loving and caring mother and would spend time with her daughter Sāra, singing and playing her harp.
Sēramu was a young woman with fair skin, long black hair, and green eyes. She donned purple and pink robes, a red jeweled golden necklace around her neck, vivid red lipstick, and brown sandals as the Queen of Rōran. She also wore a white cloth-like headgear with golden trimmings.
Sēramu was of royal blood and based on the information at hand, she did not possess any combat capabilities. However, as the queen of Rōran, she possessed the power to command Ryūmyaku, an ancient chakra source located deep beneath the kingdom of Rōran.
Apart from the movie, Sēramu also appears in the light novel based on the movie with the same title, “Naruto Shippuden the Movie: The Lost Tower.”
