Suzaku Nara in Naruto

The details of Suzaku's past are rather mysterious and very little is known about his upbringing or his skills. In the anime, he only made a few brief appearances. However, it is stated that he is a skilled jonin of Konoha.

Suzaku made his debut in the anime in Fourth Shinobi World War: Confrontation Arc. In the arc, Suzaku was among the Konoha shinobi squad assigned to keep watch on Naruto Uzumaki and keep him confined at the Island Turtle till the duration of the war. However, Naruto insisted that he needed to leave the confines of the Island Turtle and fight alongside his comrades. When they did not agree, Naruto used force to break past them and successfully forced his way past Shito Akimichi and Maruten Akimichi, two jonin of Konoha’s Akimichi clan. Then, Suzaku used his Shadow Imitation Jutsu, a specialty of the Nara clan, to stop Naruto in his tracks and render his escape impossible. However, Naruto was able to overpower Suzaku by entering his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode and breaking through his Shadow Imitation Jutsu.

Suzaku has not appeared since this incident; thus, his absence makes it impossible to say whether he is dead or alive. He is currently assumed to be alive and well unless any information comes to light indicating otherwise.

Suzaku had a limited appearance in the series and had a limited role in the plot of the series. Due to his sparse appearance, Suzaku never had the opportunity to showcase his individuality in the series.

Suzaku has dark eyes, thick eyebrows, and spiky black hair that he wears in a messy ponytail. He also sports a small goatee. He is dressed in the typical Konoha shinobi clothing, including a flak jacket (signifying his jonin status), black underclothes, a head protector, and standard shinobi sandals.

Details concerning Suzaku's abilities are still unknown because of his sparse appearance in the series. Suzaku, however, is a skilled shinobi of the Konoha and the Nara clan. He is skilled in the shadow manipulation jutsu used by the Nara clan and possesses Yin Release.

With this talent, he was able to restrain Naruto, the Hero of the Hidden Leaf for a while until he entered his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode to escape from the bind.
