Initially, Tajima was a father of five sons, out of which three were lost in war against the Senju, leaving him with Izuna and Madara at the time of his introduction. He appeared on the battlefield alongside his son Izuna after learning that his other son Madara was regularly meeting with Hashirama Senju.
He and Izuna attempted to use Madara’s meeting with Hashirama to eliminate another Senju, thinking along the same lines as his rival Butsuma Senju. When Butsuma and Tobirama Senju greeted him, Tajima noted that they were thinking along the same lines as he prepared to draw his tantō.
Tajima attempted to attack Tobirama, hoping to shake Butsuma’s determination and gain an advantage against him, but his attack was blocked by Hashirama. When Tajima asked Madara to join the fray, the latter admitted to being weaker than Hashirama. The Uchiha reluctantly retreated, and though he was unable to gather intel on the Senju, he was pleased nonetheless that the situation allowed Madara to awaken his Sharingan.
Tajima was a composed and stoic man who seemed to have tremendous faith in his son, Madara, appreciating his decision to back down from a fight with the Senju. This was after Madara pointed out the odds were definitely stacked against them with Hashirama there.
He, like Butsuma, attempted to retrieve information from their enemies through his son’s friendship with Hashirama, and while this ultimately failed, he was pleased that Madara’s Sharingan awakened as a result. He and Butsuma were also quite similar, both in skill and thinking, which was why each confrontation presumably ended in stalemate.
They were even willing to kill one other’s offspring only to create an opening to attack the other.
Tajima has dark-coloured eyes and dark-coloured hair that was shaved in the back, framing a gaunt-looking face that was emphasized by his naturally curled downwards mouth.
He wore a typical black garb, including a high collar, a breastplate with additional plating over the outer legs, foot covers, sandals and a tantō strapped horizontally to his back.
As the wielder of the Sharingan, Tajima was endowed with a variety of superior visual prowess that considerably boosted his combat ability in the battlefield to the point where he was said to be evenly matched with his rival Butsuma Senju.
He also carried a tantō indicating his kenjutsu skills. His ability to survive till maturity during the time when many young children died in wars implied that he was a skilled shinobi.
A. Tajima’s wife has not been shown in the series as his only known family were his five sons in the entire series, out of which only Madara and Izuna were shown.
A. Nothing is known about Tajima’s father except that he presumably died during the war torn era.
A. Tajima is one of the descendants of Indra Ōtsutsuki as the former was born into the renowned Uchiha clan, whose members are born with the potential of awakening the Sharingan.
