Teyaki Uchiha in Naruto

The details of Teyaki's past are rather mysterious. Very little is known about his upbringing or his skills. In the anime, he only made a few brief appearances.

Teyaki made his debut in the Search for Tsunade Arc in episode 84 of the Naruto anime, titled “Roar, Chidori! Brother vs. Brother!” Teyaki was a member of the Uchiha clan and a citizen of Konoha. Teyaki and his wife, Uruchi, were the owners of the Uchiha Senbei shop within the Uchiha compound. The Senbei Shop business has been in Teyaki’s family since Konoha was first founded. The secret recipe that Teyaki used to prepare senbei was a secret passed down in his family throughout the generations and he guarded that family secret with all of his heart.

Teyaki had a great influence on Sasuke Uchiha. He encouraged Sasuke to grow up to become a great and strong shinobi on his own and that he does not have to copy or follow the same path as his elder brother Itachi did. Later, Teyaki and his wife died in the Uchiha Clan Massacre, which became known as the Uchiha Clan Downfall.

Teyaki had a limited appearance in the series, so not much is known about him. It is stated that Teyaki was a kind man. Unlike others, he encouraged Sasuke to follow his own path.

Teyaki was a middle-aged man. He always had a friendly smile on his face. He had short, cropped gray hair. He was dressed in a pair of khaki pants and a long-sleeved, beige kimono shirt.

Due to his limited appearance in the series, details about the true extent of Teyaki’s abilities are still a mystery. Although Teyaki was a member of the formidable Uchiha clan, he never showed any aptitude for combat abilities. Due to the lack of information, it is believed that Teyaki did not possess any combat abilities.

Apart from the Naruto manga and its anime adaptation, Teyaki is also part of the series’ gaming franchise. He debuted in the gaming category with the release of Naruto: The Broken Bond.
