Tsubusa in Naruto

Very little is known about his upbringing as Tsubusa’s past is still shrouded in mystery. Due to his limited appearances in the series, little is known about his lineage or background other than the fact that he is a chunin of the Hidden Sand Village.

Tsubusa first appeared in the Kazekage Rescue Mission Arc. He was first seen at his post protecting Sunagakure’s entrance. Then, Tsubusa spotted Deidara and Sasori, members of the Akatsuki, approaching the village. Tsubasa conveyed this development to Yura and told him that it is just as predicted. Yura then told Tsubusa that it would be over before they knew it. Yura then killed Tsubusa and the rest of the guards before they could raise an alert.

Due to his lack of appearance in the series and any related information, almost nothing is known about Tsubusa’s personality.

Tsubusa was a young man who had big black eyes. He covered his face with a dark-grey mask combined with a metal faceguard. He wore what appears to be the standard outfit of e chunin of the Village Hidden in the Sand- a grey shirt underneath a brown flak jacket with shoulder pads. Additionally, he wore a white turban, covering his hair, combined with standard shinobi sandals.

Based on his rank, Tsubusa was surely an extremely talented shinobi. It is stated that Tsubusa possessed keen vision and was able to spot enemies from miles away. Because of this, Tsubusa was allocated to the village’s entrance to guard the village from infiltrators. In fact, he was the one who spotted Deidara and Sasori approaching the village from far away, something all the Anbu and jonin present at the time were unable to do.
