In the Fourth Great Ninja War, the Allied Shinobi Forces are battling against the Ten-Tails. Team 7 has finally reassembled and is fighting side by side. The Ten-Tails is trapped in a barrier, known as Four Yang Red Formation, which can be activated only by 4 Kage level shinobi. Ten-Tails blasts the barrier with a Tailed Beast Bomb but the barrier holds up and Ten-Tails ends up taking damage from its attack.

Hashirama creates 5 Wood Clones, four of which open a doorway at each side of the barrier to allow the Allied Shinobi Forces to enter the barrier and fight Ten-Tails. One of his wood clones goes to deal with Madara Uchiha, who refused to fight a mere clone of Hashirama stating, ‘A clone is no fun at all.’

When the forces enter the barrier, Ten Tails creates soldiers known as Fission Beings out of its own body, to defend itself. While the battle rages on, Sakura reminisces about her memories in Team 7, about how she was always left behind when Naruto and Sasuke fought and competed. She had decided that she would become stronger and fight by their side, and so trained under Lady Tsunade.

She finally achieves the Hundred Healings Mark on her forehead during the battle, and surprises everyone with her monstrous strength. A huge monster appears in front of Sakura. To defend Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke use WindStyle: Rasenshuriken and Inferno Style: Flame Control respectively. Sakura believes that she has finally caught up with the two of them. Meanwhile, Naruto and Sasuke notice each other's newly acquired abilities.

Other teams of Konoha fight the monsters with their various abilities, showing how much they have grown over the years. Sai tries to attack the main body from the sky but gets countered and is saved by Naruto. Sai shares his concerns with Naruto.

He states that they needed to attack the main body, and that without Naruto sharing his chakra, they can suffer heavy casualties and the medical team cannot come to the battlefield. To counter this turn of events, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura summons Gamakichi, Aoda, and Lady Katsuyu respectively, forming TheNewThree-Way Deadlock.

• In the midst of their battle, Sakura reminisces about her past missions as part of Team 7 and about how she was left out while Naruto and Sasuke fought against enemy forces. She recalls the endless time she has spent training under Lady Tsunade, to become strong enough to fight alongside the two of them. She then gets the Hundred Healings Mark on her forehead.

• Naruto hears Sai's concerns. He claims that they must attack the main body and that if Naruto did not share his chakra, they would suffer high fatalities, and the medical team would be unable to arrive on the battlefield. Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, in response to this change of events, call Gamakichi, Aoda, and Lady Katsuyu respectively, to construct The New Three-Way Deadlock.
