Second Kazekage

Shamon accompanied the first Kazekage to the first Kage Summit. He was on board with Hashirama’s request for cooperation between the five hidden villages. When Reto (the first Kazekage) was assassinated, Shamon succeeded him and became the second Kazekage.

During his time as the Kazekage, he focused all his time on strengthening Suna's military power and used the puppets as a replacement for soldiers. Shamon took advantage of their desert terrain and helped develop new ninjutsu in which ninjas could fight with multiple partners.

He also researched the tailed beasts so that he could control Shukaku. Due to his efforts, Suna had a huge advancement in its military. He was later assassinated and the people who did it remained unknown to this day.

Shamon was known as a ninja who strivedalways to improve.

Shamon was a bald man but he did have some brown hair on the back of his head. His most distinct feature was his green dragon tattoo around the top of his head and a black claw covering his right eye. He wore a dark-colored kimono and a light-colored sash while he wore a long-sleeved haori.

Not a lot is known about Shamon’s abilities and as he was made a Kazekage it is said that he is quite powerful. He was quite knowledgeable and a tactical ninja. He was the first Suna Ninja to research jinchuriki.
