Who killed Kakuzu?

Kakashi Hatake was the one who killed Kakuzu. He assisted Team 10 in their mission to avenge their late teacher Asuma Sarutobi. With the help of Shikamaru’s intelligence, they were successful in this mission. After the mission ended, Team 10 was at peace as they had successfully avenged Asuma.

Kakuzu was an elite Ninja of Takigakure. He was assigned to assassinate Hashirama Senju, but failed. He was treated quite harshly for failing the mission, and so Kakuzu developed a hatred for Takigakure. He killed all the elders in the village and took their hearts, as well as the village’s forbidden techniques. From then on, he became a bounty hunter in the black market. After a while he joined the Akatsuki and killed four of his partners before being paired up with Hidan.

The Life of Kakashi

Kakashi was a prodigy in his time under Minato Namikaze along with Rin Nohara and Obito Uchiha. He was naturally talented and popular. After defeating Guy in the chunin exams, he became a chunin. During the Third Shinobi War, Kakashi lost Rin and Obito and he became very depressed. He then joined the Anbu and became a mindless killing machine.

Minato wanted to help him, and he gave him the task of protecting a pregnant Kushina, which Kakashi did diligently. To help his friend, Guy recommended Kakashi to the Third Hokage, to lead a genin team. Kakashi was thus the leader of a genin team consisting of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. Kakashi became the 6th Hokage after Pain attacked the village, when Tsunade temporarily went into a coma. After the Fourth Great Shinobi War, he became the Hokage permanently.

Kakashi’s Fight with Kakuzu

In Kakuzu’s fight against Shikamaru, Ino and Choji, Kakuzu uses his Earth Release: Earth Spear to harden his body to defend against Choji’s Spiked Human Bullet Tank. As Kakuzu thinks of finishing off the trio, Kakashi sneaks up from behind and strikes Kakuzu's heart with his Lightning Cutter. However, Kakuzu survives the attack. He kicks Kakashi away and removes his robe to show his true form. His body is being held together by strings and four masks on his back, with one being destroyed by Kakashi. He unleashes all his masks but the destroyed one dies, which makes Kakashi aware of his weak spot.

Hidan gets freed from Shikamaru's jutsu and goes to attack Kakashi, and as he is immortal, Kakuzu uses Wind Release on Kakashi and Hidan. Kakuzu then turns to fight the other three and uses his Lightning Release: False Darkness on them. But before the attack hits them, Kakashi arrives in time and absorbs it, although it strains his arm. Hidan is impressed with Kakashi for surviving the Wind Release Technique, and Kakuzu uses Fire Release on all of them.

Luckily they all survived the attacks, and Choji wonders how Kakuzu managed to survive the attack even though Kakashi destroyed his heart. Shikamaru says that Kakuzu has five hearts, one being in his body and the other 4 being in his masks. Kakashi has killed one of them. They all concluded that the only way that they could defeat them was to split them up. Shikamaru says that he would take care of Hidan and the rest should deal with Kakuzu till then.

Shikamaru uses his Shadow Stitching Technique to trap Hidan, and takes him away. Kakuzu merges two of his masks which helps him combine Fire and Wind Release, and this makes Kakashi realize that each of Kakuzu's masks possessed a natural chakra Release. Kakuzu decides to strike Kakashi's heart to replace it with the one Kakashi destroyed. Once Hidan is able to move freely, he throws his weapon which grazes Shikamaru's cheek, and once he ingests his blood, Hidan performs a ritual and stabs his own heart.

Kakuzu manages to catch up with Kakashi and pins him to the ground. As he is about to take Kakashi's heart, he feels a sharp pain in his own heart and clutches his chest, wondering how Kakashi had managed to strike his heart. Both Kakashi and Shikamaru explain to him that they planned to kill Kakuzu through Hidan, with Hidan using Kakuzu’s blood for his ritual. They revealed that when Kakashi had attacked Kakuzu with his Lightning Cutter, he had taken his blood in a syringe and passed it to Shikamaru and when Hidan attempted to cut Shikamaru’s cheek, he had poured Kakuzu's blood on his weapon. Kakuzu falls down and dies.

Even though the fight seemed over, it really wasn't. They still had to fight the remaining three masks of Kakuzu. Choji tries to destroy them but they survive all attacks. Kakuzu's Fire and Wind Release masks use an exploding flame technique to kill Kakashi, but he is saved by Team 7. Naruto uses his new technique, the Rashenshuriken, with Yamato's Water Release and manages to kill off the masks. Kakashi then ultimately finishes off Kakuzu with a Lightning Cutter.

What are the abilities, Chakra, and Physical Prowess of Kakashi?

Kakashi is a prodigy and one of the strongest Shinobi in Konoha. His combat and tactical abilities are exceptional. He mostly relies on Ninjutsu, and once he acquired the Sharingan, his arsenal of techniques grew more and more as he had over a thousand jutsus mastered.

Kakashi also has his own pack of Ninken that he raised as puppies, and he can summon them to retrieve things, attack or deliver messages, etc. He can use all five nature transformations. He is a natural at Lightning Release, and he can transfer it to weapons and use it to increase its powers.

Kakashi also possesses the Sharingan which he got from Obito as a replacement for his right eye. Even though Kakashi loses his Sharingan, it doesn't hinder Kakashi at all and he still remains the most skilled ninja in Konoha.

What are Kakashi’s Special Abilities?

Sharingan

As a replacement for his left eye, Kakashi received the Sharingan from Obito. It became Kakashi's most distinct feature and he came to be known as 'Kakashi of the Sharingan.' With the help of the Sharingan, he can perfectly copy any jutsu that he sees, and can also use genjutsu. As he isn't a pure Uchiha, he cannot deactivate his Sharingan and it also drains a lot of his Chakra.

Mangekyo Sharingan

Kakashi's Mangekyo Sharingan activated after Rin's death. Despite not being a pure Uchiha, he's able to maintain the Mangekyo Sharingan well But he does suffer from its side effects, like bleeding eyes or deterioration of vision.

Purple Lightning

Using this, the user shoots bolts of electricity from their hand to strike a target. Kakashi uses this as a replacement for the Lightning Cutter, and he can quickly strike targets with it.

Chidori

Chidori is the high concentration of lightning chakra which is channeled into the user's hand, created by Kakashi Hatake. It can pierce through a person and can kill them instantly. This makes it useful for assassinations. However, it requires a lot of chakra and can only be used within a limit.
