Who killed Tobirama?

In his earlier days, Kinkaku and his brother Ginkaku were part of the team assigned the task of capturing the Nine-Tailed Fox under the authority of the First Raikage of the Village Hidden by Clouds. In their attempt to capture the Tailed Beast, they were swallowed alive by the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox.

But the two brothers managed to survive in the stomach of the tailed beast by consuming its flesh. So much so that eventually, the Demon Fox was forced to spit them out. By consuming its flesh, the two brothers had acquired a portion of its chakra and looked like miniature versions of the beast in appearance.

The two brothers planned a coupd'état against the Hidden Cloud Village to gain power in the village. They staged their attack during a treaty ceremony between Hidden Cloud Village and Hidden Leaf Village. The meeting was attended by the Second Raikage, A and Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju. During this encounter, Tobirama managed to survive with an inch of his life.

Later, during the First Great Ninja War, Kinkau Force surrounded Tobirama Senju and his escort unit and forced them into a corner. The Hokage acted as a decoy to allow his men to escape without casualties and the Second Hokage eventually ended up dying by Kinkaku. Due to his actions in his lifetime, Kinkaku is remembered as one of the most infamous and notorious criminals in Hidden Cloud’s history.

Kinkaku and Gingaku were reincarnated as Reanimated Shinobi by Kabuto Yakushi in the Fourth Great Ninja War and they battled against the Allied Shinobi Forces in the war. The Gold and Silver Brothers of the Hidden Cloud confronted Darui and eventually were sealed by him with Team 10’s assistance.

Kinkaku was feared across nations for his prowess and notorious nature. When he and his brother Gingaku appeared on the battlefield in the Fourth Great Ninja War, the Fourth Raikage who was acting as the leader of the Allied Shinobi Forces, nearly left his post in order to confront those two. This was because Kinkaku managed to eliminate the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju, with his Kinkaku Force in the First Great Ninja War.

Kinkaku had immense chakra reserves as both he and his brother were capable of wielding the five Treasured Tools of the Sage of Six Paths. These tools require a great amount of chakra to function and cause fatal side effects if not handled with care. The Gold and Silver brothers showcased their ability to wield these tools for a continuous and extended period of time. This just goes to show how strong they were, even before they had absorbed the Nine-Tailed Fox’s chakra.

After surviving his encounter with the Demon Fox, alongside his brother, Kinkaku had gained a portion of the tailed beast’s chakra after eating its flesh for two weeks. His chakra was similar to the chakra of the Demon Fox and he was capable of covering himself in a Nine-Tails Chakra Cloak without losing his consciousness. He was considered a Psuedo-Jinchuriki.
