The details of Yakumi's past are rather mysterious. Very little is known about his upbringing or his skills.

Yakumi was a member of the Uchiha clan. He was also a member of the Konoha Military Police Force. Close to nothing is known about his background. However, it is stated that as a member of the Konoha Military Police Force, he assisted Fugaku Uchiha, the leader of the Uchiha clan, in his duties. It is believed that Yakumi died during the Uchiha Clan Massacre, which later became known as the Uchiha Clan Downfall.

Yakumi’s abilities remain a mystery to this day. However, based on his status in the Konoha Military Police Force, it is believed that Yakumi was a shinobi of great talent.
