Zenigoke’s Background

Very little is known about Zenigoke’s past as his heritage is still shrouded in mystery. As he appears in the game only, little is known about his lineage or background. However, he was introduced in the game as a mercenary ninja. He is also the brother of Mizugoke, another mercenary ninja.

Additionally, he is just a part of the Naruto: The Broken Bond game and does not appear or receive any mentions in the Naruto series manga or anime, making him a non-canon character in the series.

Zenigoke had snuck inside Konohagakure (Village Hidden in the Leaves) in the game to destroy the village. He planted numerous traps in Konoha to leave the village in ruins. Unfortunately for him, Neji Hyuga discovered his scheme and put a stop to it. He tried to flee and escaped into the woods but Neji and Naruto Uzumaki tracked him down. Zenigoke engaged the two Konoha shinobi in battle and set off a trap destroying one of Naruto’s Shadow Clones. He then attempted to attack Neji but Naruto knocked him out.

This is the only appearance Zenigoke ever made. Based on this, it is quite impossible to determine his status. Currently, he is believed to be incapacitated until any new information comes to light suggesting otherwise.
