Loki is a fictional character in the Japanese manga/anime series One Piece created by Eiichiro Oda.
The younger half-brother of Hajrudin and the son of King Harald, Loki is a prince of Elbaph. He is referred to as the "Accursed Prince" and the "Shame of Elbaph" since Elbaph's giants think he killed his father to get an unknown Devil Fruit, which led to his capture. Loki says he would "end the world" and calls himself the Sun God, a god that the people of Elbaph worship.
Before Charlotte Lola fled, Loki was set up to wed her, which would have aligned Elbaph with the Big Mom Pirates.

Sixty-three years ago, Loki was born on Elbaph, roughly ten months after Linlin's parents abandoned her on the island when she was only five years old. Before Loki was born, his father had predicted that his own son would murder him. The "Horse of Fortune," the royal steed, died the year he was born, and Linlin shamefully killed the hero Jorul.
His mother passed away from unknown conditions a year later, and Elbaph started to experience natural disasters. 53 years ago, when he was ten years old, Loki used his natural strength to subdue the monsters in Elbaph's Underworld and force them to serve him in exchange for their lives. He then caused widespread destruction by letting the creatures loose in villages.
Loki spent most of his early years waiting for his father to depart before playing deadly tricks on Elbaph's giants. He once laughed uncontrollably and set fire to a whole village.
Loki once taunted and physically attacked his older brother Hajrudin since the latter's mother was not from Elbaph and so not of "pure" blood. Hajrudin has since developed a resentment towards Loki.
Years later, Loki met Charlotte Lola, the 23rd daughter of the Charlotte family, and fell in love with her right away. Lola's mother, Linlin, planned for her to marry one of the giants to mend her tense relationship with them, but Lola fled because she wanted to wed someone she loved. Big Mom attempted to replace her with her twin Chiffon since she wanted the marriage to go on nonetheless, but the giants discovered the scheme, and the wedding was canceled, which raised tensions between the two parties.
Fourteen years ago, Loki had his sights set on a legendary Devil Fruit that had been handed down through the royal family's generations.. This caused him to clash with Harald, his father and the king of Elbaph at the time, which is why Loki killed Harald in addition to stabbing Jarul in the forehead with a sword so that he could take the fruit and consume it, thus fulfilling Harald's prophecy.
But six years ago, Elbaph's military sentenced Loki to crucifixion when he was taken prisoner by Shanks and returned to Elbaph. Initially, Loki nearly escaped, but Elbaph's most powerful giants collaborated to restrain him and temporarily stop his escape by securing him in seastone chains across Treasure Tree Adam in the Underworld.
While bound to the tree, Loki kept his friendly connections with the creatures and gathered a group of human followers who had also been banished to the Underworld. Shanks once approached Loki and used Supreme King Haki to knock out his followers. The specifics of his encounter with Shanks are still unknown.
Luffy felt a strong, menacing presence somewhere in Elbaph's mountains and decided to investigate it himself when he and his fellow crew members were fleeing the Land of Gods. The person in question turned out to be a shackled Loki who asked for Luffy's name before introducing himself.
Loki tries to negotiate Luffy's release after having a negative initial impression of the Straw Hat captain. In exchange, he promised to kill any rival pirate crew. Loki had some of his human servants and huge creatures appear to force him into action to further guarantee that this "deal" would be achieved, but Luffy ultimately foiled this plot by taming the beasts himself.
However, Loki was able to get Luffy's anger and then his undivided attention after insulting the red-haired pirate, realizing that Luffy and Shanks had a personal relationship after the latter was mentioned by his servants. As Luffy's interest in Shanks' whereabouts grew, Loki made another offer: In return for his own freedom, he would tell Luffy everything he knew about Shanks, including his most recent location. Luffy consented and promised to keep their meeting a secret.
Following his encounter with Luffy, he had a talk via Den Den Mushi with his longtime friend Mosa regarding Mosa's most recent painful event. Even though their conversation began peacefully, it quickly descended into animosity when Mosa unintentionally brought up Loki's generosity behind his harsh remarks, after which he implied that he would have done horrible things to the people who put Mosa in their present predicament.
Loki was so outraged with Mosa for this that he vowed to punish him for his remarks. Shortly thereafter, two of God's Knights confronted Loki. They offered him a place in their ranks, but Loki just responded by laughing at the idea. This significantly irritated Gunko, one of the two, who tried to use one of Loki's pets as leverage.
Due to his warrior nature, Loki laughed at them once more and refused to change his statement. Gunko tortured Loki until he was "willing" to join their group since they wouldn't accept "no" as an option. Loki remained rigid despite being given another chance, boldly declaring to the God's Knights that he would never, ever join them. After being rendered unconscious, Figarland Shamrock ultimately concluded that Loki was no longer worth the hassle and chose a different tactic.
But Loki was able to gather himself before the two could leave. He was shocked to learn that Shamrock was Shanks' twin brother. Then, threatening to exact revenge for the several huge creatures that Gunko had killed, Loki confronted Shamrock.
The threat outraged Shamrock, who instantly flashed his sword, which had "eaten" a Devil Fruit. The sight of the bizarre creature horrified Loki, who insisted Shamrock bring it back. Cerberus hurled its three heads into the air, forcing Loki to stay chained in place. Loki cursed Shamrock as the three heads stabbed him.
Later, after a series of pranks to get his key back, Luffy and Zoro find Loki seriously injured when they return to the Underworld of Elbaph. The two argued about whether Loki was in danger of dying because of how serious his injuries appeared to be. To confirm, Zoro unleashes an ordinary attack on Loki's chest, causing him to scream in agony.
He fainted before he could condemn Zoro, leading Luffy to assume he had passed away and Zoro to verify his account of his injuries. Zoro chose to remove all but one of Loki's shackles to talk to him because he still didn't entirely trust him.
Zoro tried to send Luffy to find a doctor at the same time, but the New Giant Warrior Pirates suddenly appeared out of nowhere, and Luffy had to save them. Zoro had already undone most of the shackles (except for the one around Loki's left ankle), so it was too late when they tried to warn about Loki's deception. To everyone's horror, Loki then got up and armed himself with his hammer.
Loki said that even with the final shackle on, he would still be strong, so he gave the Straw Hats instructions to remove it. By using Ragnir to hit the Treasure Tree Adam, he proved his argument by causing a lightning strike that ignited the island's fire. In an attempt to try his luck once more, Loki gave the group one final chance to remove his final shackle, failing which he would go on a rampage in the Sun World.
After a while, Hajrudin gave in to the pressure, but before he could comply with Loki's demands, Luffy unleashed a quick attack, and Loki fell, his bluff having failed. Gerd obliged with Luffy's request that the giants spare Loki's life, explaining that the two of them had unresolved business. As she was tending to him, Gerd disclosed that Loki's injuries were particularly serious; she estimated that it would take months for him to fully heal.
The people of Elbaph saw Loki as a dangerous and evil man who had committed many horrible crimes, none more notorious than the murder of his father, the king, for the only reason that he desperately wanted a Devil Fruit. He liked to cause mayhem, disruption, and ruin to the people of Elbaph for fun, even as a little child. Due to his desire to bring about the end of the world, Loki is generally aggressive, mad, and destructive. But the claim that he killed Harald with intent has been refuted by Loki.
Loki is generally cheerful and always smiling, but he also tends to be impatient and easily irritated. He is a cunning manipulator who enjoys making deals that he might or might not keep and stirring up people to get a response, all the while dismissing it as a joke when he receives a reaction. He is also incredibly arrogant, claiming to be the strongest creature in Elbaph and refusing to let anyone speak in front of him without his consent.
As a very arrogant giant, Loki usually displays little regard for anyone, including his followers, and struggles to remember their names, much like Luffy occasionally does to others. But he is good with animals; as a boy, he made friends with Elbaph's wild beasts and used them to frighten people into doing what he said. Loki despises the World Nobles and would prefer to remain chained rather than become one of them to gain freedom. Even after Gunko tortured him and his animal companions, he refused to give in and stayed rebellious against his attacker, preferring to use his pent-up anger to destroy the entire planet.
Loki appears to have a softer and more sympathetic side, as his companion Mosa has noted. However, it appears that Loki does not accept being labeled as "good" because he passionately disagrees to being portrayed as a compassionate guy and even gets very angry with his companion.
Considered to be as big as Oars, Loki is a giant with long, pink hair. He has twin braids in the front of his hair, but his back is still untidy and disordered. His long legs and powerful, red-tattooed arms make him rather lanky by enormous standards. He has a metallic shell around his nose, a pointed beard, and a tendency to hang his tongue when he speaks. Due to his father's Ancient Giant blood, Loki has two long horns that grow upward, the left of which is wrapped to keep it in place.
Like most of the Elbaph giants, Loki wears Viking-style clothing, which includes a black, wide-rimmed helmet with his horns sticking out, a dark outfit consisting of gloves, pants, boots, a purple, fluffy cloak, and a belt with a crowned Jolly Roger motif draped over his belly. Another characteristic that Loki has had since he was a young boy is the bandages covering his eyes. Loki was wearing a cape, a tunic, and a big crown when he proposed to Lola.
Even among the giants, Loki is huge and powerful; even while he was imprisoned, it is said that all of Elbaph's best fighters were needed to control him. He is as large as the Ancient Giants since he is about Oars's size. Many giants think that if Loki is ever released again, he has the capacity to wipe out the entire planet because he believes he is the strongest warrior in all of Elbaph.
Only Jarul and Loki survived their battle with his father, King Harald, after Loki murdered over a hundred giant warriors, some of whom had Ancient giant blood like him, as well as his father, who was regarded as a strong fighter and also had Ancient Giant blood. The World Government has set a special bounty of 2,600,000,000 on Loki in recognition of his abilities, however, it is currently unclear why this prize is deemed "special" in the first place. He was offered to join the renowned God's Knights as a result of this "special" consideration.
As prince of Elbaph, he had previously had considerable power and influence over the warriors and population of Elbaph, which is known to be the strongest kingdom in the world. This included the right to pop the question to Big Mom's 23rd daughter, who was despised by the giants, and the ability to put an end to their enmity, should the marriage succeed. The giants, on the other hand, were hostile to anything that irritated Loki, as demonstrated by Big Mom's unsuccessful attempt to deceive him.
However, Loki no longer seems to enjoy royal advantages after being found guilty and punished as a criminal. Nevertheless, despite his current situation, Loki still maintains power over a few devoted humans and many untamed animals that he says he made friends with as a child. If someone survives long enough in Elbaph's Underworld to encounter Loki, this enables him to still intimidate them into cooperation. Despite being tormented repeatedly, Loki refused to follow the God's Knights, demonstrating his strong will.
Given that he has been shackled in seastone for almost six years and has escaped the cold conditions of Elbaph's Underworld on one occasion, Loki's determination in particular seems to be extraordinary. Loki still took the brunt of Gunko's blows despite being constantly battered by her Devil Fruit abilities. After being released from his chains, Loki was able to stand right away, wield his hammer, and put on a convincing charade that he could fight until he passed out from his wounds despite having been stabbed through the chest by many enormous swords.
He has stated that having only one leg imprisoned in it would not do much to restrain his might, even though seastone weakens him as a Devil Fruit user. He quickly proved this by showing enough might to swing his enormous warhammer without any problems.
When bound and wearing a blindfold, Loki can dodge an impending Gear 4 strike at close range due to his remarkable reaction time. Even by the standards of the Giants, Loki's strength is great; he could kill his father and a hundred giant soldiers by himself. Even at the age of ten, he was able to influence the other animals to perform his bidding and slaughter a large number of them by himself in Elbaph's Underworld.
Loki consumed an unidentified Devil Fruit. Although its nature and abilities are currently unclear, it is said to be a mythical fruit that he wanted so badly to obtain that he killed his own father in order to have it.
The main weapon of Loki is Ragnir, a massive warhammer. When Loki hits something with his hammer, he can summon enormous lightning bolts from the skies to strike it. During his youth, Loki had a big, spiked club.
