The Time’s Come is an optional final mission in GTA V. This mission is triggered if Franklin chooses Option B - to kill Michael according to orders from Devin Weston.
If Franklin chooses Option B in the final mission, he chooses to kill Michael and meets him in a field of satellite dishes, pretending to talk. However, he soon reveals that he has been sent to kill him and a car chase ensues. The chase leads into the Palmer-Taylor Power Station where Franklin chases Michael up a scaffolding.
After a brief scuffle, Franklin pushes Michael back and he falls over the rail, held by Franklin. Franklin can either pull Michael up or drop him to his death, but if he pulls Michael up, Michael headbutts Franklin and falls to his death anyway.
Franklin calls Lamar, but ends up with his voicemail, regretting his decision and resigning himself to the fact that he will never be more than a "hustler". The credits begin to roll as Franklin walks away from the power station. The mission shows the consequences of Franklin's actions and the difficult choices he has to make in his criminal life.

After this mission the player cannot play as Michael and other characters cannot hang out with Michael as he is dead. Franklin and Trevor will receive their shares from the Union Depository heist, though Lester informs them that he has sent Michael's share to his family. Michael’s family probably moves from Los Santos as if the player visits Michael's mansion, "For Sale" signs will appear outside.
After this mission is completed, some Bleeter posts will mention Steve Haines' death and Merryweather Security closing its operation in the USA. Both of these events refer to The Third Way ending, and is probably an oversight of the game.
This is the second instance in the storyline where Michael is noticeably trying to hold back tears. When Michael says he treated Franklin like family, his voice cracks whilst saying "and now you're gonna cap..." due to emotion.
The name of the mission comes from what Franklin says to Michael as he holds him up over the edge of the tower: "Eh, you told me when the time came, I'd know. I'm sorry!"
