Akari was an Otsutsuki cult follower who believed that the Otsutsuki clan would use a God's power and save the whole world with the power of Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Akari used to live in a small village where Boro used his Virus cloud causing there to be no vegetation, resulting in all the village people becoming sick. Akari's brother Kagari also fell sick, but Boro approached them with his Otsutsuki Cult. Boro then used his Anti-Virus Cloud Technique to make everyone in the village healthy and said that it was the power of Otsutsuki, and that they all should join the cult.
Later, Kagari was selected by Boro to have direct contact with the gods. Akari used to get letters from her brother, but those stopped after three years when she was kept in the dark about Kagari's situation. Kagari was one of the people who were sacrificed to God's tree.
Akari was the one who told Konohamaru and Sai about Boro and the Otsutsuki Cult when they came to investigate the building that Boro created for the Otsutsuki Cult. After Konohamaru revealed the truth about Boro and Sagari to Akari, Delta came there and destroyed the whole place.
She is caring and kind, but not too brave or strong-hearted. She gets heartbroken when she hears the news about her brother Kagari.
Akari has long brown hair and fair skin. She wears a white Kimono and a full-sleeve warmer underneath that. She has braided hair.
