Hagiri in Naruto

Since Hagiri’s past is still a mystery, not much is known about his early years. Hagiri was a ninja academy student around the same time as Itachi Uchiha. Very little is known about his lineage or past due to his limited appearances in the series.beyond the fact that he was a friend of Tenma during his time in the academy.

Hagiri first appeared in Itachi Shinden: Book of Bright Light. The novel revealed that Hagiri’s mother and sister were among the victims of the Nine-Tails Demon Fox’s Attack and had died in the incident. Hagiri watched helplessly when his mother and sister died in the attack, unable to do anything to prevent it. He was among the faction of people who believed that the Nine-Tails’ attack on Konoha was the doing of the Uchiha Clan.

Because of his resentment towards the Uchiha clan, Hagiri resented Itachi Uchiha. Hagiri, along with Tenma and Katsura, bullied Itachi. However, although Itachi was much smaller than the three, he easily defeated them in a fight.

Hagiri has not appeared since. Therefore, it makes it close to impossible to determine his current status. For the time being, based on his prior status, he is presumed dead until any additional information comes to light suggesting otherwise.

Due to his lack of appearance in the series and any related information, almost nothing is known about Hagiri’s personality. Judging from his limited appearances and actions, it can be stated that Hagiri harbored resentment for the Uchiha clan and resented Itachi because of it.

Hagiri is a novel-only character and does not make any visual appearances in the Naruto manga or anime.
