Jiga, one of the brothers of Jiga and Renga, was in the Janin group and took control of the Land of Vegetables by killing its Land of Vegetable daimyo. He also got rid of his allies, who were untrustworthy village people whom he had recruited. The three brothers were not loyal to each other and wanted more power and money, so they planned to kill each other.
Naruto, Choji, and Yurinojo defeated Ruiga, but Jiga killed him using magnetic rocks. Jiga believed that with Ruiga out of the way, he and Renga could have a larger share of their spoils. Jiga then fought Naruto and easily defeated him.
Hinata arrived shortly after and used her Gentle Fist technique to change the flow of Jiga's magnetism, causing him to attract metals more strongly. He was then pulled into an iron sand whirlpool, which killed him.
Like his brothers, Ruiga was selfish and willing to harm allies to get more treasure. However, he didn't expect his brothers to betray him. When Jiga refused to help and killed him, Ruiga was surprised and didn't see it coming.
Jiga had red marks on his cheeks and was a chubby guy with medium black hair. His outfit consisted of a dark blue sleeveless shirt with light gray circles on the sides, dark blue arm warmers without sleeves also with light gray circles on the sides, light gray loose pants, and dark blue sandals.
Jiga had a unique ability to magnetize his body and other things around him, which he gained by eating iron from a young age. He could use this magnetism to block a person's nervous system and attack opponents with metallic objects he pulled from his surroundings. However, this ability had a weakness: if he used it for too long, he would attract all nearby metal against his will.
Jiga was skilled with a kusarigama weapon, which he enhanced by magnetizing the weight to target an opponent's metal objects, like a forehead protector. He was also physically strong, able to swing Naruto around and break stones with his fists easily. He was durable and could withstand most of Hinata's attacks.
