Kageki in Naruto

Very little is known about Kageki as his past is still shrouded in mystery. Based on the information at hand, Kageki is the one responsible for Shikazo’s death as he killed him by accident. Additionally, he is only a part of the Naruto anime which makes him a filler, non-canon character in the series.

Kageki made his debut in the anime with the Past Arc: The Locus of Konoha. In the storyline, it was revealed that at some point in time, Kageki lent some money to Shikazo. When Kageki needed the money for his family, he asked Shikazo to return the money that he had borrowed from him. To Kageki’s surprise, Shikazo refused to pay him back, which resulted in a fight between the two. Unfortunately, during this chaos, Shikazo fell and hit his head hard on a pickling stone and met his demise. Katazu, Kageki’s twin brother, took the blame for Kageki’s accidental death to save his brother. Kageki and his family went into hiding while Katazu attracted the pursuers looking to take revenge for Kageki’s death. Tsukado, a master swordsman and a distant relative of Kageki, was chosen to track down Katazu and eliminate him to avenge Kageki’s death.

Kageki hasn’t made any appearances yet after this incident so it is next to impossible to determine his status. Based on the information at hand, Kageki is believed to be alive and well until any additional information comes to light suggesting otherwise.

Kageki had a limited appearance and didn’t have the opportunity to display his personality traits. Based on the information at hand, Kageki cared for the well-being of his family. He was also a coward as he let his brother take the blame for Shikazo’s death rather than face the consequences himself.

Kageki is a tall, skinny man with black eyes and long black hair that he keeps tied up at the back of his head in a ponytail. He wore a green ochre-colored loose kimono with a matching band around his waist, paired. He also wore a guard on his hands and had white bandages wrapped around his wrists and waist.

Kageki is a regular man of unknown origin. Based on the information available, he never received any formal combat training, thus, he didn’t possess any battle skills.
