Kaji is a boatman and a citizen of the Land of Waves. He is one of the supporting characters in the Naruto anime series and manga that was written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto.

Life of Kaji

Kaji appeared in the first season of Naruto episode: 7, "The Assassin of the Mist!." He transported Team 7 and Tazuna to the Land of Waves without being spotted by Zabuza Momochi and his gang, who were under the command of Gato. He is a businessman who doesn’t want the bridge to be built that connects the Land of Waves to other countries, because it will affect his sea transporting business.

Kaji turns off the boat’s motor and sails through thick fog to help Team 7 and Tazuna reach the Land of Waves. When they reached the Land of Waves, he wished them good luck.

Kaji’s Personality

Kaji is courageous and strong-willed as he risked his life to transport Team 7 and Tazuna to the Land of Mist.

Kaji’s Appearance

Kaji wears a gray sleeveless jacket over a green full-sleeve t-shirt and brown trousers with sandals. He wears a straw hat which is what the people of the Land of Waves wear.
