Kayui in Naruto

Very little is known about Kayui as his past is still shrouded in mystery. In the series, Kayui was introduced as a Kumogakure shinobi and a Third Division of the Allied Shinobi Forces member.

Kayui debuted in the anime in the Fourth Shinobi World War: Confrontation Arc. In the storyline, after they regrouped, the de facto leader Nurui determined that Kayui and the remaining men of Yurui's squad should flee from Ameyuri Ringo, a Kirigakure kunoichi and a member of the previous generation of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist who Kabuto Yakushi reincarnated.

Kayui tried to mediate between the two even though Omoi objected to Narui’s decision, and a fight started as they retreated. Later, when Omoi returned with Kayui and Nurui to fight Ameyuri, her strike rendered them helpless. Kayui fled with the other members of his division once the rest of the Third Division had arrived, and Ameyuri had been confined in the marsh trap they had set up.

Kayui is a relatively calm man who remains level-headed even in the direst situations. It is evident by the calmness he displayed when he and his comrades were being chased by Ameyuri. He also tried to mediate the conflict between Omoi and Narui.

Kayui is a tan-skinned man with shoulder-length blonde hair, purple eyes, thin eyebrows, and a muscular physique. He is dressed in the standard attire of a Kumogakure shinobi, consisting of a dark, sleeveless shirt with a high white collar that he wears zipped down the midway, a pair of matching pants, a white belt-like accessory that he wears diagonally on his torso, and sandals.

Kayui is a shinobi of Kumogakure, capable enough to be selected as an Allied Shinobi Forces member. He is quick on his feet and capable of setting traps to capture his enemies. He used Earth Release and the surrounding environment to set traps. He also has high resilience and endurance, as he survived a Lightning Release by Ameyuri.
