Very little is known about his childhood and Kyoya’s past as his heritage is still shrouded in mystery. Due to his limited appearances in the series, close to nothing is known about his lineage or background other than the fact that he is an accountant and served under Ginji who in turn was affiliated with Kakuzu, a member of the Akatsuki.
Kyoya had a limited appearance in the series as he was only seen in episode 122 of Naruto Shippuden, which was titled The Hunt. He was affiliated with the Akatsuki through his boss, Ginji, who handled the vast wealth of Kakuzu of the Hidden Waterfall Village.
He made his debut in Itachi Pursuit Misson and after Kakuzu died, Sasuke Uchiha, Suigetsu Hozuki, Karin Uzumaki, and Jugo formed Hebi and set out to find Genji in order to find out where Akatsuki's hideout was. Kyoya was assigned by Genji to investigate a disturbance he heard outside. However, Suigetsu viciously defeated both men by using the Kubikiribocho, commonly known as the Executioner's Blade.
Kyoya has not appeared since this occurrence and thus his absence makes it impossible to say for sure whether he is dead or alive. Kyoya is currently assumed to be alive and well unless any information surfaces indicating otherwise.
Due to his lack of appearance in the series and any related information, almost nothing is known about Kyoya’s personality. Based on his limited role, it can be deduced that Kyoya is a reliable and obedient person who always follows through with the orders he receives from his boss.
Kyoya is a tall man with dark eyes and short, spiky light brown hair. His forehead is marked by a scar, which continues on his cheek. He is dressed in a straightforward green suit and some standard shoes.
Despite the fact that Kyoya engaged in combat with Suigetsu Hozuki, Kyoya is a banker, not a shinobi, and does not appear to have received any shinobi training, according to the information that is known about him. As a result, he lacks any countable combat abilities.
