The Nadeshiko Village is a shinobi village in the Naruto series and it is located near the Land of Water. This hidden village is habitat only by women and the women of this village must venture outside of the village to find a suitable male, strong enough to defeat them.

In the Naruto series, the Nadeshiko Village functions as a shinobi village. This village is close to the Land of Water, situated above three enormous, high hills that form a straight line and are lightly forested and connected via two bridges, spanning the gorges between them. Only women live in this secluded village.
The women of Nadeshiko Village are required to leave the village and venture into the outside world in order to find a suitable man who is powerful enough to defeat them in battle, in accordance with the village's regulations. After a woman of this village finds a man who successfully defeats them in battle, the said man is taken back to Nadeshiko Village to marry her.
She was the former leader of the village and Shizuka’s mentor, who later became the next leader of the Nadeshiko Village. Unfortunately, close to nothing is known about her, even her name is unknown due to her very little appearance in the anime. As her status is not confirmed, she is currently presumed dead as she appeared very old, weak, and bedridden in her last appearance.
Shizuka is the current leader of the leader of Nadeshiko Village and she first appeared in Naruto Shippuden episode 235 with the title, The Kunoichi of Nadeshiko Village. She was destined to marry a student of Jiraiya (the legendary Sannin of Konoha) who is strong enough to defeat her in battle.
